Part 1 of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians series finale (stream now on E! and watch Part 2 Thurs., June 10 at 8e/5p on E!) is finally getting into the dissolution of Kim and Kanye's marriage. More specifically, how Kim is dealing with it.

While most of their interactions and her feelings have gone down offscreen, Khloe explains in her confessional that things have been bad.

“Kim has been struggling privately, behind camera, about her relationship,” Khloe says after Kim blows up at the rest of the family over a tray of cookies while they're on vacation in Lake Tahoe.

“It’s tough because Kim is clearly redirecting so much of her frustration and sadness and anger. Sometimes you just take things out on something that has nothing to do with what you’re going through. It’s not the cookies’ fault.”

Then through a flashback in black and white, we witness the aftermath of one of their fights prior to the family trip, where Kim breaks down and sobs over her impending break with Kanye.

“I feel like a f***ing failure, that it’s like, a third f***ing marriage. Yeah, I feel like a f***ing loser,” Kim openly sobs in an unguarded moment before the cameras, as all of her sisters, including Kendall and Kylie, rally around her.

“I just, like, honestly can’t do this anymore,” she cries. “Why am I still in this place where I’m like, stuck for years? Like, he goes and moves to a different state every year.”

She goes on to say, “I have to be together so I can like, raise the kids. He’s an amazing dad, he’s done an amazing job…”

“I think he deserves someone that can go support his every move, and go follow him all over the place, and move to Wyoming. I can’t do that,” Kim adds in tears.

“But I can’t even think about that,” she continues. “Like, I want to be happy.”

We know that this episode was filmed sometime late last year, probably in late October or November, when Kim and Kanye were still working on their marriage, after a bad 2020 where they were at odds over many things, including raising their children in quarantine and Ye’s failed Presidential bid.  In early 2021, rumours abounded of their impending divorce when they quit marriage counselling. In February, it finally came to fruition when Kim officially filed for divorce.

KUWTK fans are shook by Kim’s emotional breakdown.

“Kim is one of the most incredible human beings, literally ever,” Khloe says in a confessional. “She tries to protect their union at all costs, but it’s hard when you carry that responsibility on your shoulders. I just want her to take care of herself too.”

Last night’s episode was part one of the KUWTK finale, with next week’s grand finale showing more of Kim speaking to Kris about the end of her marriage and focusing on her happiness. Man, these Kardashians really know how to go out with a bang!
