The artist formerly known as Kanye West, ‘Ye, has given a revealing and unguarded interview about his beef with Drake, his regrets over signing Big Sean, and most notably, his split from Kim Kardashian, his wife of seven years. Speaking with Revolt TV’s Drink Champs, Ye exclaimed emphatically that he’s never seen divorce papers, and that her comments about divorcing him during her infamous Saturday Night Live monologue a few weeks ago were drummed up by SNL writers.

"SNL making my wife say ‘I divorced him' because they just wanted to get that bar off," the Donda rapper said. "And I ain't never even seen the papers, we're not even divorced."

"That ain't no joke to me," he added, "My kids want their parents to stay together. I want us to be together." The estranged couple share children North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2.

He went on to blame the “media” for spinning the narrative of their split, and also blaming those close to Kim, like her publicist, about whom Ye emphatically says, “I don’t f**k with her!”

During Kim’s guest hosting stint on SNL, she referenced Ye in her monologue, joking that even though he’s the greatest rapper of all time, she divorced him because of his “personality.”

She also shared her sadness in the final episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, crying that she felt like a “failure” for not being able to make this marriage work, and how “lonely” that has been. In recent months, Kim has supported her ex by attending his Donda listening parties.

Since filing for divorce in February, Kim has recently been spotted holding hands with SNL cast member Pete Davidson, while Ye was briefly linked to model Irina Shayk.

Ye also had a mouthful to say about his beef with Canadian superstar Drake; most notably about leaking Drake’s Toronto address in his IG stories. As we pointed out back in August, there isn’t really a person alive in Toronto who doesn’t know where Drake lives, and that’s exactly how Ye justified leaking the address in the possible doxing attempt.

“No,” Ye insisted. “He advertised it when he was building the house. Everyone knows it, it’s like a place in Canada you go by, it’s like a monument! That’s how I was able to find it! It’s Googleable. It’s on Google Maps!”

He’s not wrong.

He also spoke at length about the origin of the Drake beef, pointing out that Drake had hinted in verses of his raps that he had an affair with Kim. Ye says he brought this to Drake’s attention, but he claims Drake refused to emphatically say whether he had slept with Kim or not, which left Ye feeling bewildered. “So you could be sitting there like, ‘did he?’ Did he not?’ That’s worse than if you did! I woulda rather you did!”

When asked if he would take on a Verzuz battle with Drake, Ye said he would smoke him. So that’s something we can look forward to. Speaking of beefs, Ye also delved into his regrets over signing Big Sean, who left the GOOD Music label last week so he could “start getting a bigger cut.” Ye addressed that, saying that signing Big Sean was “the worst thing I ever did,” and added, “When I die, on my tombstone it’s gonna say I deserve to be here because I signed Big Sean.” (For the record, this was Big Sean's response.)

Why the sudden beef there? Ye chalked it up conflict that arose when he ran for US President in 2020, and Big Sean preferred siding with the Democrats. You can watch the entire interview here:
