The 93rd Academy Awards are almost here and unlike previous awards shows, the Oscars will be a mostly in-person event. This ceremony is meant to "look like a movie" instead of an awards show with the help of awards show director Glenn Weiss, according to Oscars producers.

“Our plan is that this year’s Oscars will look like a movie, not a television show, and Glenn has embraced this approach and come up with ideas of his own on how to achieve this,” the Oscars producers said. They also hinted at a "cryptic" way masks would feature into the event in a press conference (here's everything we know on that).

With the 2021 Oscars deemed a "no-Zoom zone," we can expect a lot of glamour from the red carpet and on stage. We'll also get to witness all the moving speeches from the evening's big winners with no awkward muted microphones and unstable internet connections.
