It has been a devastating month for pop princess Britney Spears and her family. She has recently thrown daggers at mother Lynne Spears for not getting her an attorney during her conservatorship, and she has also clapped back at ex-husband and former backup dancer Kevin Federline for suggesting their two sons Jayden and Preston are avoiding her.

For some time, the “Toxic” singer has had her Instagram account deactivated, but she reactivated it on September 1 to post a lengthy statement where she condemns her “hypocrite” ex-husband, and chastises Jayden for passing judgment on her on topics he doesn’t fully understand.

The “Oops I Did It Again” crooner began her statement by saying, “I’ve tried my best at being the best person I can be,” before adding that during her 13 year conservatorship, she was “held hostage” under blankets by nurses and care homes, and so it stands to reason why she might frolic in the surf in her bikini during her honeymoon with new husband Sam Asghari.

Right off the bat, we know she is referencing comments that ex-husband KFed made to British broadcaster ITV recently where he suggested that her nearly-nude selfies were causing their sons to decide “they are not seeing her right now. It’s been a few months since they’ve seen her. They made the decision not to go to her wedding.”

He also mocked her selfies with a sexist comment that her body *existing* is damaging to their sons, telling the outlet, “I try to explain to them, ‘Look, maybe that’s just another way she tries to express herself.’ But that doesn’t take away from the fact of what it does to them. It’s tough. I can’t imagine how it feels to be a teenager having to go to high school.”

She continued, “Finally at 40 without the restraints of what my family did to me … I say to my son Jayden that I send all the love in the world to you every day for the rest of my life !!!! My love for my children has no boundaries and it deeply saddens me to know his outcry of saying I wasn’t up to his expectations of a mother … and maybe one day we can meet face to face and talk about this openly !!!!”

But her tone quickly became dissatisfied when she added to her son that he should be more critical of her parents who put her in the conservatorship, rather than of her Instagram proclivities “Maybe dear child YOU can explain to me why our family would do that to anyone !!!!”

That’s when Brit goes nuclear on her ex-husband, writing, “I helped your father who hasn’t had a job in 15 years … I assume it is easier for you guys not to have someone check on you to make sure you’re doing your homework !!!! I’m sure the standards of your dad smoking weed every day benefits your daily life at 15 and 16 to partake in a VERY COOL GENERATION !!!”

Dang, he’s gonna need some aloe for that burn.

After saying that she did “4 tours, judge X Factor and WAAAY more” for her son Preston, she continues lambasting her ex-husband. “It’s horrible to see your dad be a hypocrite and say the media is horrible yet he has you talking about personal matters to them !!! If you could pause for a second remember where you came from !!! I hope you can look in the mirror and remember … you are my child and always will be !!!!”

She simultaneously praises her sons for their “gift” of playing the piano and also accuses them of being ignorant of her situation, writing, “As for my mental health … my dear child understand you must learn to pick up a book and read one before you resort to even thinking about my intellect sweetheart !!!”

“Tell your father to go try and at least mow the lawn!” she adds.

Her post seems to be a reaction to her sons and KFed giving an interview to ITV about the “Work B***h” singer, where Jayden reportedly told the broadcaster about Brit’s mental health, “I just want her to get better mentally. When she gets better I really want to see her again.”

Mail Online shared clips from the sit-down ahead of its September 2 airing, revealing that the trio spoke candidly about what life with the “Gimme More” singer is really like. Recently, KFed posted and then deleted private home videos of his ex-wife having an argument with their sons – something that was filmed years prior, the context is unknown, and was posted without Britney’s consent.

The Federline boys also sat down with 60 Minutes Australia, with a preview of the September 4 interview showing the short-lived rapper-wannabe saying of his time with the Grammy-winning singer "It was amazing. Until it wasn't."

Fans have flooded Britney’s comments section, showing her support and praising her for speaking her truth. Even new hubby Sam Asghari wrote, “Mowing the lawn > professional baby daddy.” BOOM! Roasted.

Social media, understandably, is also buzzing with the epic clap back.
