There's a lot to love about
The Bachelor franchise—fantasy; sweeping romance; a tall, dark, handsome stranger; exotic locations; gorgeous gowns. But this season of
The Bach is really starting to lose sight of all the fun and focus on all the things that are better suited to an episode of
Jersey Shore—emotional breakdowns, an evil camera-seeking baddie, and of course, someone ends up with a bloody head-wound. Is our bachelor Peter or Pauly D?TBH ,the head wound ended up being a little bit of comedic relief because, honey, how Pete gouged his head is right out of an episode of
Arrested Development. When the girls first spotted their dashing pilot with a bandage and stitches, the brave hero told (a rather poorly thought-out) tale of meeting a puma on a mountain trek. Oh is that so, Pilot Pete? Too bad nothing is off-camera on
The Bachelor, and there is
CCTV footage of you getting clocked by—wait for it—a golf cart and then—hold up—the glass in your own hand. Nice try, buddy.
Unfortunately, that bit of comedy was but a small respite from the three-hour drama extravaganza that happened Monday night. Alayah, who had just eeked her way back into the house last week, was sent home
AGAIN. Peter thankfully listened to all the other girls' (very legitimate) complaints, then pulled Alayah aside to tell her that even though he had strong feelings for her, the whole situation just wasn’t the right fit. As Natasha said, “She made her bed, now she has to Alayah in it.”If Mary J. Blige were here, she would already be pleading for everyone to end the
hateration in this dancerie, but no, there was still more drama to be had. Just because the girls teamed up to oust Alayah doesn't mean they're friends now. Kelsey was accused by Tammy of having a mental breakdown when Pete was off on a one-on-one date. Tammy later pulled Pete aside to call Kelsey "emotionally unstable"—a bit harsh (but where is
emotional support cow Ashley P. when you need her?).[video_embed id='1590349']RELATED: Bachelor contestant Hannah B. would NOT like to make a toast[/video_embed]*Checks watch* Is the dramz over? Nope. Pete cancelled the cocktail party and then during the rose ceremony,
Tammy interrupted the whole thing just so she could have a private chat with Pete. Girlfriend, we love you, but that ain’t no way to secure a man’s heart. Too bad MyKenna followed suit by then interrupting the interruption. Seriously, friends, please stop this madness. As many viewers pointed out on social media, it’s really hard to tell at this point
who the villain of this
season is because, frankly,
they all are. We've said it before but it bears repeating: please stop fighting and support! your! sisters![video_embed id='1886857']BEFORE YOU GO: Noah Centineo and Lana Condor tell us how their lives have changed ahead of ‘To All the Boys 2’[/video_embed]
