The Act is a must-watch. It’s a fictionalized retelling of the 2015 murder of Dee Dee Blanchard by her daughter, the infamous Gypsy Rose Blanchard. The story—of the younger Blanchard instructing her online boyfriend, who had multiple personality disorder, to murder her mother in cold blood—is so wild that few details needed to be fictionalized. The Loudest VoiceThe Loudest Voice was nominated for two Globes (Best Television Limited Series and Best Performance by An Actor In a Limited Series) and Russell Crowe transformation into Roger Ailes, the former Chairman and CEO of Fox News, will make your skin crawl. The series explains the origin and rise of the conservative news channel and the life—and fall from grace—of its founder. Each episode details a specific year at Fox News, covering everything from the launch of the station, 9/11, both the 2008 and 2016 U.S. presidential elections, with Ailes' alleged sexual harassment woven throughout the events.
