This week’s list of recommendations features a long-anticipated sequel to an early 2000s hit series, the perfect low-key show to step into like a warm bath and an undisputed holiday classic film to get you into the spirit of the season.Home AloneIs there a better film to officially kick-off the holidays than Home Alone? Sure, everyone has seen it a dozen times over by now but the classic holiday flick starring Macaulay Culkin as a witty 8-year-old who defends his home from a pair of knit-wit burglars (Daniel Stern and Joe Pesci) after he is mistakenly left behind during his family’s Christmas vacation never gets old. And who can resist an opportunity to see a pre-Schitt's Creek Catherine O'Hara as the harried mom? If you're in a holly jolly mood, check out Crave’s new Holiday Collection to add some ho-ho-ho to your queue.
The L Word: Generation QUpdated and revised for a new socially-conscious audience, The L Word: Generation Q takes all the elements that made the original series a hit a decade ago and modernizes them. Like the original, the series follows the lives of a group of LGBTQ+ friends as they succeed and fail at life and finding love. Picking up 10 years after the original ended, returning cast members Jennifer Beals, Katherine Moennig and Leisha Hailey are joined by an ensemble of new characters as they relocate from West Hollywood to Silver Lake to continue their adventures. Expect more twist and turns, jaw dropping moments and tons of melodrama.
