Watch Will Smith and Tyra Banks re-enact their famous 'Fresh Prince' fight scene

It’s been almost 30 years (!) since Will Smith and Tyra Banks starred opposite one another on Smith’s hit sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and two things are true—neither star has aged and both still remember their lines. This may be the easiest revival yet (and it could be happening). As part of Smith’s new Snapchat series Will From Home, the Fresh Prince caught up with his former co-star and the two relived one of their most iconic scenes.Smith set up the high-energy scene, saying "This next piece is one of my favourite moments. I love that we did that.” Filmed as part of the 1993 episode "Where There’s A Will, There’s A Way Part 1," Smith appeared on-screen as his alter ego, while Banks made her debut as Smith’s street-smart ex-girlfriend Jackie Ames. The pair’s surprise reunion at the University of California went from a hug to a fight in only a matter of days when Jackie confronted Will over leaving Philadelphia without saying goodbye. The pair reenacted the scene as it played, with Banks fully getting into character.

Banks was 19 when she got the part, which is impressive not only because that makes her one of the few actors to actually play their age, but also because it was the supermodel’s first acting job. “Was that one of your first times ever acting,” asked Smith following the pair’s spot-on reenactment. “Not one of. It was my first acting job ever,” said Banks. “I had an acting agent even though I hadn’t acted yet. He was like, you gotta go do this audition for The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. She was last seen in the season’s 12^th episode, "You’ve Got To Be A Football Hero," when Will passes out in a graveyard and meets the local ghosts. Fourth seasons are tough.Following her appearance on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Banks continued to star in TV and film productions, including Love & Basketball, Life-Size, Coyote Ugly, Felicity, Glee and Black-ish. Banks is still best known for her work in the modeling world, including becoming the first black woman to appear on the cover of GQ and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and creating America’s Next Top Model in 2003, which she produced and hosted for 22 seasons.Banks also lent her critical modelling smize to Smith’s Snapchat series this week. After revisiting their work together on Fresh Prince, Banks and Smith critiqued fans who appeared on video chat showing off their quarantine style. According to Banks, “Every hallway is a runway.” Let that be our mantra for 2020.
