There may not have been any unmasked celebrities by the time the latest hour of The Masked Singer (Wednesdays, 8 p.m. ET, CTV) wrapped, but fans had plenty of opportunities to clear their own pipes and sing along from home in the show’s inaugural sing-along edition. Because who doesn’t need to just belt out some snazzy tunes alongside a larger-than-life costumed celeb every once in a while? This show gets the self-isolation life.Throughout the hour, each of the Magnificent Seven contestants took a stroll down memory lane by throwing to two of their favourite performances so far (lyrics and a bouncing mask gave the full karaoke experience), while recapping some of the bigger clues as to who the heck they could possibly be. And for those fans whose masked favourite had already gone home? There was an extra fun bit where the eliminated contestants sang “(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life” to their masks. It was a fun hour that reminded everyone why these seven finalists are still in the game, and it gave viewers everywhere time to reflect on which celebrities could be underneath those masks and when the dust settled, this is how things looked.

Turtle

The panelists seemed a little shell-shocked by Turtle’s first performance, “Kiss From a Rose,” so that and “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” were his two song selections for the sing-along. “Even though I’m not a punk rock and roll turtle, I picked this first song to show my softer, sweeter, rosier side, right off the bat,” he said. Later, he added, “I get it, turtles are slow, fine. But after starting this season with two ballads, I picked this next song to pick up the pace and show I have a fun, snappy side. It was tough learning the choreography, but I had a blast.”Clue recap: surfboard, can of pop, Shellboy comic bookPanelist guesses: Zac Efron, Nick Lachey, Adam Lambert and Joey McIntyreThe internet’s best guess: Jesse McCartney[video_embed id='1501883']RELATED: Ken Jeong showed us his infamous dance moves and it was the best[/video_embed]

Banana

Banana is the most random costume of the bunch, but he’s definitely proved why he deserves a spot in the Magnificent Seven with those killer vocals. On Wednesday, he peeled back the layers by throwing to “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Lean On Me,” two classic song selections indeed. “It’s all about being there for the ones you love, no matter what,” he said. “And you can always lean on me, but not too hard! I don’t want to get squished!”Clue recap: blowfish, blue dog collar, “super-sexy” mulletPanelist guesses: Larry the Cable Guy, Jeff Foxworthy, Billy Ray Cyrus and Bret MichaelsThe internet’s best guess: Bret Michaels

Kitty

Some weeks it feels like Kitty has done this singing thing before, while other weeks her confidence seems to waver. One thing is for sure though, her performances of “Dangerous Woman” and “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now” proved she should still be in this thing. “I was so excited by this next song, by one of my favourite artists, Céline Dion. But on show day, I turned into a huge scaredy cat, because vocally it’s a very difficult song,” she said. “I was afraid I couldn’t pull it off. But then at showtime, I summoned the courage of the kitty and loved singing every single second of it.”Clue recap: red cape, duelling pirates, Christmas treePanelist guesses: Sarah Hyland, Vanessa Hudgens, Nicole Richie and Amanda SeyfriedThe internet’s best guess: former America’s Got Talent runner-up Jackie Evancho

Frog

Is this amphibian still in the competition for his crazy ability to spout out rap lyrics or because he can actually leap all over the stage with his dance moves? Probably both but either way Frog is a smooth contender, as his performances of “U Can’t Touch This” and “Jump” reminded viewers. “I’m my own worst critic when it comes to my performances,” he said. “Practicing 24/7 to make sure I give them all an A plus plus.”Clue recap: knight, hush puppies, toy soldiersPanelist guesses: Omarion, Ray-J, Kevin Hart and Alfonso RibieroThe internet’s best guess: Bow Wow, aka Shad Moss

Astronaut

This celebrity could seriously compete with Robin Thicke for the puniest performer, which he reminded everyone of when he introduced his song selections, “Shape of You” and Signed, Sealed, Delivered” by Stevie Wonder. “[That] performance meant so much to me because I’m actually friends with the artist himself,” he said. “No wonder I was floating on air out there. I know, the gravity puns are getting old but I fall for them every time.”Clue recap: pair of dice, broken vinyl record, constellation flagPanelist guesses: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Adam Devine, Lance Bass and Ryan TedderThe internet’s best guess: country singer Hunter Hayes

Night Angel

Does anyone out there think that maybe Night Angel is trying to disguise her voice? She sure hits those high notes in songs like “Shout,” but the lower range in songs like “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” is a bit wobbly. Still, there’s no denying this celeb is a powerful performer. “Even though my eyes are wide open on this costume, I can barely see a thing,” she said. “In fact, it’s so hard that to practice at home I wear a ski mask and I even turn off all the lights. Whatever it takes.”Clue recap: the bumblebee and crown, lipstick heart, magic tricyclePanelist guesses: Lil Kim, Toni Braxton, Taraji P. Henson and Keke PalmerThe internet’s best guess: Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss

Rhino

Fans are bullish on Rhino and his aviator-like costume, and his performances of “Nice to Meet Ya” and “Tracks of My Tears” have definitely shown that this guy isn’t afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve. Still, he should also be commended for learning some tough choreography while wearing that heavy looking mask. “Being a massive rhino with a massive head which, by the way has given me some massive headaches, may give you the impression of a tough rhino without a gentle side,” he said. “So I picked this next ballad [‘Tracks of My Tears’] to show my heart and soul.”Clue recap: diamond ring, the Grand Ole Opry, faith signPanelist guesses: Tim Tebow, Ryan Lochte, Tim McGraw and Jason AldeanThe internet’s best guess: former MLB pitcher Barry ZitoOf course until those masks come off, these are all just guesses. So if you want to know who the next celebrity hiding underneath those colourful layers is, tune in when the series resumes its regularly scheduled playoff episodes next week. The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on CTV.[video_embed id='1939218']BEFORE YOU GO: Even Anna Wintour is wearing sweatpants now[/video_embed]
