Tayshia has been feeling out being The Bachelorette for a few weeks now after taking over for Clare. She’s taken her time getting to know the men and to sink into the role. Now, after last night’s episode, it’s clear she’s starting to act like The Bachelorette by making ruthless decisions and cuts to the roster of men. And Bachelor Nation is shook, fam.

After a one-on-one date with contestant Eazy, where they went on a haunted house mission to seek out the ghosts of the La Quinta Resport, they sat down to a romantic candlelit dinner. Eazy, having been lulled into a false sense of security, felt comfortable opening up to Tayshia and telling her how he was falling in love with her.

Throughout this season, Eazy has been a fan-favourite, coming off as nothing but a gentleman, on top of being fun, gregarious and charismatic. So it was shocking when Tayshia told him that she didn’t feel the same, and that she might never feel the same. With an ice-cold finality, she told him she couldn’t give a rose and sent him home.

As Eazy welled up in the limo that sped him away, Bachelor Nation got up in arms demanding #JusticeForEazy.

While that's an all-too-familiar arc for a loveable love interest on this show, news came to light nearly simultaneously that ABC had recently conducted an investigation into Eazy (full name: Uzoma “Eazy” Nwachukwu) after sexual assault allegations were made against him on Twitter. The tweets have since been deleted but the woman who claimed Nwachukwu had forced a non-consensual sexual encounter said, in part, "I will not stand by quietly anymore, while this aggressor is paraded around on this show as a ‘stand up guy’ or as the ‘comic.'"

She also spoke to Bachelor Nation guru Reality Steve (AKA Steve Carbone) who confirmed she detailed the story to him and added, "If I had to guess, Eazy will never be seen on the franchise again." According to Carbone, he helped her make ABC aware of the allegations. The company shared with Heavy Tuesday night that the investigation was "inconclusive."

Ben Opens Up About Body Image

Also last night, the other men realized they needed to go big or go home. While that usually means grand gestures of some sort, it doesn't usually mean stripping down for the third time this season. However, that's exactly what Ben did in lieu of a self-portrait.

While that move seemed a little self-serving, Ben later managed to open up truly to Tayshia and explain why that was actually huge for him. Turns out, while his body looks conventionally fit and attractive, his obsession with physical fitness comes from years of abusing it. In a very moving and intimate conversation, Ben eloquently spoke about suffering with bulimia and how no one but his sister knew about it. Crediting her with saving him, this was a huge revelation to hear on television, as audiences are more accustomed to hearing women speak about their struggles with eating disorders, rather than men. Ben just opened a huge door here for men and non-binary people to speak about how body image and eating disorders affect them. We have no choice but to stan.

Zac Opens Up About Addiction

Ben wasn’t the only one who took the risk of opening up to Tayshia about his past. Zac also got the opportunity to reveal some life-altering episodes that he endured in his early 20s. We truly cannot wrap our head around some of the painful things Zac had to endure. A brain tumour and surgery is bad enough. But then it led to an addiction to prescription drugs. Which led to alcoholism. Which led to the dissolution of his first marriage. Which led him to spiral out of control. This man must be made of steel or solid rock. Thankfully he had a loving family to support him and now, years later, he's an addiction specialist himself.

We and Bachelor Nation alike were floored not only by his revelations but also that after spending over four months in rehab, he is now on the board of that rehab clinic. Talk about a glow up!

So Tayshia’s got a good bunch of men on her hands, and even though the dramatic battle of wits between Bennett and Noah from last week spilled over into this episode (and from next week’s teaser, it definitely affects the upcoming episode as well), even more difficult decisions are going to have to be made as the number of men dwindles. We’re glad we’re not in her shoes because we would like to marry all of them, please and thank you.
