Okay, but what if A-Rod and JLo got married at the Super Bowl?

Jimmy Fallon may be on to something.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are such a power couple, it feels as if they have been together forever. They never shy away from public displays of affection, and praise be, because they are relationship #goals. The problem is, they’ve been engaged since, oh, we don’t know, the Titanic sunk? C’mon you two, when are we gonna hear wedding bells? We need something to believe in!It turns out, not only are they in full planning stage, but A-Rod is letting JLo completely take the reins on planning the wedding. Probably because she played a successful wedding planner in The Wedding Planner and also is JLo, immaculate example of leading a perfectly styled life.Thursday night on The Tonight Show (weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on CTV2), Jimmy Fallon asked the baseball champ how preparations are going, and A-Rod had an itty bitty bit of goss to dish: “You just let Jennifer plan everything and you just say, ‘Alright!’” Well, she does have a lot of personal experience with weddings, so that makes sense. No shade— she's literally filming a movie called Marry Me right now!
As for location and venue, Jimmy had an idea of sorts. Since JLo is co-headlining the Halftime show at the 2020 Super Bowl with Shakira and Jimmy thought it would be a primo place to exchange vows. “It’d be the first time anyone’s ever done it, there’d be like a hundred million people watching, no one’s ever done a wedding during the Super Bowl halftime show. It would just be epic, c’mon!”First of all, that would be totally epic and we would watch every second of it. Second of all, no, that would never happen in a million years, James.Have you met JLo? Everyone knows she’s a woman who will settle for nothing less than her vision. If you interrupted JLo in the middle of her Super Bowl Halftime show, we doubt it would go well. Try to bother her during a dance routine? MAMA’S WORKING. Do we want the wedding of two mega celebs to be publicly televised during prime time? Yes. Do we want to miss out on the epic JLo-Shakira performance of a lifetime? No.Speaking of cutting a rug, we can only hope that at least some of the J-Rod wedding ends up on their respective YouTube channels because when it comes to choreographing the first dance as husband and wife, A-Rod knows his place. “Anything to do with dance, I gotta just try to take a backseat. She’s a professional dancer. But I told you last time, when I have a few cocktails, I’m not awful!”The cutest moment of the interview was arguably when Jimmy played a 21-year-old clip of a young, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed Arod in a 1998 interview admitting that JLo would be his dream date. Even though Arod posted that clip on his Insta earlier this year to much fanfare, we still think that is totes adorbs and they were were clearly meant to be.Now, how do we score an invite to the wedding?[video_embed id='-1']RELATED: JLo on why now is the perfect time for ‘Hustlers’[/video_embed]
