Leslie Jones freaking out over more 'Drag Race' queens is truly joyful

There have been loads of notable judges on this season of RuPaul’s Drag Race—from Whoopi Goldberg to Jeff Goldblum to U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez—but even with each episode clocking in at 90 minutes, there still never seems to be enough time dedicated to our fave guest judges rubbing elbows and comparing contours with the glamourous contestants. For the semi-final "Reunited: Alone Together" show, where the Final 3 contestants were revealed, everything was moved to an at-home format but that didn't mean viewers weren't treated to the full RuPaul eleganza extravaganza.Without a stage, lighting or a huge camera crew at their disposal, the show brought all the glamour of the season back by treating fans to some never-before-seen clips of guest judges laughing it up and getting goofy with the contestants. And we are pleased to announce that, yes, Leslie Jones was there. *drops to knees* We’re not worthy!

The SNL and Ghostbusters alum kick-started the compilation clips from her time as an unforgettably joyful judge back in March when she very enthusiastically agreed to sign Rock M. Sakura’s ugly dress. After trying her darndest to fix the monstrosity of an outfit, she opted instead to sign the queen's chest. Thrilling for Ms. Sakura, for sure, but possibly even more thrilling for Ms. Jones who squealed in excitement. This woman's absolute unadulterated joy is seriously the energy we need now and always. (Plus, she's even offering Instagram Live therapy sessions for lucky fans to keep spreading her love to all).The compilation clip also featured AOC letting the queens know she's not offended by cussing ("I'm from New York!"), Jeff Goldblum making up a song on the spot with Rachel Bloom, and Whoopi Goldberg coming face to face with contestant Jackie Cox who just happens to be a huuuge Trekkie. “I will get to tell everyone at the next Star Trek convention that I got to hug Guinan from the 10-Forward lounge!” he exclaimed, referring to her famous Star Trek: The Next Generation character. Getting on his knees to embrace her, he explained to RuPaul that Guinan is centuries old but “looks 25 and knows everything.” To which Whoopi retorted, “and here you thought it was a character I was playing.” Facts.The reunion show also had its fair share of emotional moments for the contestants as they reflected on the competition and what it took to get there. Fourth-place contestant Jackie Cox had a particularly bittersweet moment when RuPaul informed him that the show had received a note from his estranged mother. The message read, in part, “I’m extremely proud of his success. Without any doubt or reservations, he would be successful on any path he chose... Darius I’m very proud and supportive of you... I’m overjoyed and lucky to be your mom.”[video_embed id='-1']RELATED: These three queens tell all about getting *that* call from RuPaul [/video_embed]As the rest of the contestants on video chat were visibly moved, Jackie Cox, who is Persian-Canadian and living in NYC, replied how happy he was to know how his mother’s feelings have evolved. “I’m so proud of my mom for going on this journey with me.”Later, Jackie tweeted out a photo of him as a toddler in an embrace with his mother, captioning it, “I love you mommy joon.” (‘Joon’ means ‘dear’ in Farsi).
