Kris Jenner is about to have some free time in her schedule, but she’s not ready to join another major reality franchise just yet. Jenner appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (weekdays at 3pm ET/PT on CTV) this week to discuss ending the groundbreaking Keeping Up With The Kardashians (Thursdays at 8pm ET on E!) series and whether she's considering becoming a Real Housewife.First of all: this is Kris Jenner. She starts million-dollar ventures, she doesn’t join them.Rumours began swirling earlier this month that Jenner was considering joining Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise, but Jenner put an end to the idea during her appearance on Ellen’s show. "I think I would do it just to go on once in a while and be with my friend Kyle Richards, but as far as me doing a show like that regularly, there's just too much going on in my life,” said Jenner, adding “They do not need a Kris Jenner on that show! They are doing just fine.”
Jenner and DeGeneres also discussed the recent announcement that Keeping Up With The Kardashians is coming to an end in 2021. The show returned with Season 19 earlier this month and the 20th and final season is set to premiere next year.Talking about the move to end the hit show, Jenner said the family came to the decision quickly. "We were talking about signing up for another couple of years with our network and suddenly just all came to the decision as a group that the whole family felt it was time. It just sort of came to us, and we thought, you know, 20 seasons, 14 years, hundreds of episodes and lots of spinoffs," Jenner mused."It's so weird to think that when we started this show there was barely Twitter—there were no other social media platforms really like there is now,” continued Jenner. “There were no grandchildren, people weren't married or divorced. It's just so crazy that all of this happened. And to look back and think I have the most amazing home movies in the world." Well, to be perfectly accurate, Kim had already been married and divorced, but admittedly, Jenner has a lot of kids and relationships to keep track of, so we’ll let that slide.[video_embed id='2031468']WATCH: 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' ending after 14 years [/video_embed]The Kardashian and Jenner family members all shared the news on their social media pages on September 8, thanking their fans for their support throughout the years. Speaking with DeGeneres, Jenner said that breaking the news to the crew, most of whom have been with the family since season one, was especially difficult. The momager also noted that daughter Khloe Kardashian was the family member who was taking the news the hardest. "She was pretty torn up about it," said Jenner, adding that Khloe sat with the crew for hours after breaking the news to reminisce about old times. "It's been such an amazing journey and this chapter in our lives has been so amazing, and we're just so appreciative and grateful and blessed to have had this experience.”While appearing on the daytime talk show, Jenner also voiced her support for her longtime friend, who had to address her own controversy at the top of her show Monday. Ellen found herself making headlines this summer after several staffers came forward with allegations of a toxic and abusive workplace.“You’re a good person to be around when things are going a little tough because you have been through it,” DeGeneres told Jenner on the show. “You know, we’ve seen a storm or two in our day,” Kris replied, thanking Ellen for providing a safe space for her family to do press through the years. “We definitely have been through a lot of crazy stuff,” continued Jenner. “What I’ve learned, though, is that the storm does pass and as hard as it is along the way, you do hopefully come away with a lesson and learn something and be able to take it on with you in your life to another situation.”Watch The Ellen DeGeneres Show weekdays at 3pm ET/PT on CTV and Keeping Up With The Kardashians Thursdays at 8pm ET on E!.[video_embed id='-1']BEFORE YOU GO: Chihuahua puppy successfully retrieves ball for the first time [/video_embed]
