Don’t come at me, sis. The Kardashians are preparing to release the 18
th season of their hit reality show and just when we thought we had seen everything (except for one of the many nannies they must have on staff), the Kardashians are entering new territory. Kim and Kourtney are fighting! Okay, so that’s not even close to new. We’ve seen the sisters get physical several times in the past. But now they’re fully grown adults with their own children, so this must make it a bit different, right? Ladies, it’s not a good look.The first trailer for the new season dropped on Tuesday night and showed oldest sister Kourtney, who should know better, yelling “You have nothing to say,” at Kim before throwing boxed water at her sister. No disposable plastic water bottles in this fight. The Kardashians don’t play when it comes to recycling. Kim, who should also know better, responds in fight mode and lunges at her sister. Yelling “Don’t every come at me like that,” viewers are left holding their breath over fear that a drop of bronzer is going to end up on the oversized white couch. Won’t anyone think of the furniture?
The fight between the sisters may be genuine, as in genuinely ridiculous, but it’s possible the pair are simply play-fighting as they’ve been known to do. We know, it seems unreasonable that a reality show would try to suck viewers in by showing a small clip completely out of context, but it could happen. On the other manicured hand, Kourtney, Kim and Khloe did spend most of Season 17 fighting about their shared businesses and the future of the show, including Kourtney’s reluctance to continue filming. So we may have just witnessed a misdemeanor.Never at a loss for drama, Wednesday’s trailer also shows Kim calling little sister Khloe to let her know that she’s invited Khloe’s ex and baby daddy Tristan Thompson to dinner. Who pushed buttons? Where can we get that cute flannel?Scott (Lord) Disick also makes a brief cameo in the trailer with just enough time to look genuinely shocked at something one of the women says, proving he’s still coming for that Oscar. Keeping Up With the Kardashians premieres it will be on a new night. The reality show is making the move from its longstanding Sunday night spot to Thursdays. So much drama! Or, this just worked better for the lead-in.
