Kim Kardashian may be one of the most famous, richest celebrities in Hollywood, but she’s also a mom to four kids. And that means she’s doing what other parents who are currently being forced to homeschool for the first time are doing: hiding. In Kardashian’s case, she has her mother Kris Jenner’s glam room, with its separate entrance and TV-ready lighting, as her secret hideaway. The rest of us will have to continue yelling “I’m pooping” through the bathroom door for three minutes in order to get a moment of rest.Kardashian appeared on
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday night, jumping at the chance to leave behind her four children, North (6), Saint (4), Chicago (2) and Psalm, 10 months, and her husband Kanye West, who TBH sounds like he’s spending the quarantine Netflix and chilling while Kardashian is trying to lead her children in Pokemon yoga. But maybe he’s only watching TV during ‘recess.’ Kardashian said that her large family has been practicing physical distancing, but revealed that her younger sister Kylie made the trip to their mom’s house to do Kim’s hair and makeup for her Tonight Show appearance. “I don’t have anyone to do it and I’m not that good,” said Kardashian. The real question is whether Kim is wearing KKW beauty or Kylie Cosmetics.[video_embed id='1927597']RELATED: Kim and Taylor both respond to that leaked Kanye call[/video_embed]Kardashian and Fallon commiserated over the difficulty of standing in for their children’s teachers and trying to keep their little one’s busy. After putting out a call to her followers for ideas on how to occupy her four kids, Kardashian told Fallon she received little help. “Everyone was like, you have everything at your house, they shouldn’t be bored,” said Kardashian. The lack of sympathy might be the result of her recent tour of her
children’s playroom, and the fact that she tweeted a picture of her family in their
theatre room when asking for suggestions, but we get it. Regardless of
how many toys little ones have, boredom comes for them all. We saw
Richie Rich.Kardashian revealed she’s been trying to mix up her kids' viewing habits and recently showed them one of her childhood favourites,
Harry and the Hendersons. “They loved it,” said Kardashian, who is using her quiet time to binge watch
Tiger King and
Love Is Blind. Maybe celebrities are just like the rest of us.
Kardashian is also helping to keep others entertained during quarantine thanks to this month’s release of Season 18 of
Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Speaking to Fallon about the latest season, Kardashian said filming was shut down due to COVID-19 before the finale, which will now consist of footage filmed personally by each member of the family while in quarantine. Kardashian also touched on her explosive
physical altercation this season with sister Kourtney. “I feel like it’s been a lot of built up resentment from Kourtney and just feeling like she really doesn’t want to film anymore. She’s not the type of person to make a decision and say, ‘okay guys, I’m not going to film,’ but she would come to work with an attitude everyday and take it out on everyone from the crew to us and wouldn’t really make that decision,” said Kardashian, who admitted the footage of the fight left their mom Kris in tears and caused production to shut down for a week.“I think everyone was really shook after that. It was like, this isn’t our type of show. What’s happening? We want everyone to be comfortable and safe,” said Kardashian, who added that her sister left a bloody scratch mark that wasn’t shown on TV. “It wasn’t my proudest moment, but we were going through it and she’s made the decision to take time off now.”
Kardashian also talked about her upcoming documentary
Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Report, which airs Sunday. The law student said that she began pursuing her passion for justice reform with the intent of only working with non-violent offenders, but continually found herself meeting prisoners who committed horrific crimes in their teens and spent the rest of their lives incarcerated even after showing signs of rehabilitation. “I do believe that people who do a crime have to do the time, but it’s just a matter of what is fair. I think our society really throws people away,” said Kardashian, who wants to use the doc to humanize people who have committed violent acts. “Breaking down all these really unfair things in our justice system was really important for me to hopefully have other people have empathy.”
Kardashian ended her appearance on
The Tonight Show by speaking about the
$1 million donation her company Skims made to Baby2Baby, an organization that is currently helping mothers and children affected by the Coronavirus.[video_embed id='1931422']RELATED: Six new ways to keep your kids entertained if you've run out of ideas[/video_embed]
