The upcoming Stronger Together, Tous Ensemble COVID-19 special was already looking like the most dazzling Canadian spectacular imaginable, but hold onto your sweatpants, because it's about to get even better. More of Canada's hottest talents, including Ryan Reynolds, Justin Bieber, Avril Lavigne, the cast of Schitt's Creek, Kiefer Sutherland and even Cirque du Soleil, have all signed on to perform and present during the April 26 show. The new additions don't end there; Toronto sports stars, like the Raptors' Serge Ibaka and Pascal Siakam, and Maple Leafs' Morgan Rielly, will also join as well as Canadian music legends David Foster, Robbie Robertson and Burton Cummings. Amy Poehler, Mike Myers, Serena Ryder and Transplant star Hamza Haq are also set to make appearances. The celebrity-stacked event is meant to pay tribute to the frontline workers in hospitals, long-term care centers, grocery stores, factories and more across the country who are treating the sick and keeping our society functioning and will also raise funds in support of Food Banks Canada.[video_embed id='1943018']Canada’s best unite for COVID relief special[/video_embed]The new slate of actors, musicians, athletes and performers join previously announced stars Céline Dion, Michael Bublé, Shania Twain, Jann Arden, Alessia Cara, Sarah McLachlan, Connor McDavid and more. It's hard to imagine how all these megastars will fit into just 90 minutes, but we can't wait to watch them help unify the country from their respective homes. The Stronger Together, Tous Ensemble special is the latest in a steady stream of live, remote events meant to raise COVID-19 relief funds and boost morale around the world. April 18 saw the Lady Gaga and Global Citizen-led concert, One World: Together at Home featuring famous faces like Jennifer Lopez, Elton John and Beyoncé; and at the end of March, we were treated to the iHeart Living Room Concert where Mariah Carey, Demi Lovato, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello all performed. These video specials have been encouraging reminders that we are all in this together, without even leaving our yards.Stronger Together, Tous Ensemble is a joint effort between Bell Media, CBC, Corus and Rogers and will air on CTV, CTV2, TSN, CP24, MUCH, MTV, and in French on V and VRAK and will be streaming on CTV.ca, Crave, iHeartRadio.ca and the CTV, iHeartRadio Canada apps as well as airing on Virgin Radio stations. The hour-and-a-half show will be available on an unprecedented 120 platforms so if you have access to a screen, phone or radio, you’ll be able to tune in on April 26 starting at 6:30pET/7p NT.[video_embed id='1942610']BEFORE YOU GO: These stars put on an unforgettable performance during ‘One World: Together at Home’[/video_embed]
