The Ellen DeGeneres Show (weekdays at 3ET on CTV) earlier this month, insisting that they share a kiss to erase America’s memory of that time Ellen sat beside
George W. Bush at an NFL game. "You’re so smart to do this," Stern assured Ellen, taking off his glasses and planting a chaste (yet prolonged!) smooch on her mouth. Stern’s wife, Beth, was seen laughing in the audience as the kiss played out.
Next up was Aniston, who stopped by the show Monday morning to talk about her upcoming projects, those never-ending
Friends reunion rumours and an award she just received at Variety‘s Power of Women Luncheon. As the two chatted, Aniston brought up the recent kiss with Stern, who is a mutual friend of Aniston and DeGeneres."How did this kiss happen, with him?" Aniston asked. "How was it? Did you enjoy it? Were you nervous, did you kind of get into it at all?" Ellen laughed off the questions, explaining that it wasn’t a big deal. "Everyone is so shocked, but I kiss guys! I don’t make out with guys, but I kiss guys on the lips. When’s the last time you kissed a girl on the lips?" As Aniston admitted that she doesn’t usually kiss women on the lips, Ellen leaned in and waited for Aniston to join her. (It worked!)
"You have such soft lips!" Aniston gushed. "So do you!" Ellen quickly replied, as the audience cheered wildly. Smirking, she added, "That’s why I do what I do." Oh, Ellen, you cheeky thing.The conversation quickly moved on to Jen’s newfound Instagram fame, which made it to a million followers in record time, amongst them
ex Justin Theroux. As in,
literally in record time, with the Guinness Book of World Records confirming
the achievement (it took 5 hours and 16 seconds, if you’re wondering). Aniston also revealed that she tried to adopt a husky puppy from an animal rescue that DeGeneres posted about on her Instagram account, saying that someone else beat her to it.Maybe next time, Jen and when you do, we look forward to seeing it on the ‘gram.
