Is Hannah B. gone from 'The Bachelor' for good or nah?

Colton Underwood might have the tea.

Monday night on The Bachelor had a lot of emotional and oddball moments (oh, hang tight for #ChampagneGate thoughts), but everyone and their mother was waiting for the moment that was glimpsed in the teaser—Peter asks Hannah B to join his house.First she surprised him last week by making an appearance during the introductions, and we all saw how that threw him for a loop, but lo and behold, she’s back again, and this time it’s to tell him . . . what exactly? We’re not really sure but there were mascara-streaked tears and almost-kisses.As Peter approached her while the girls on the group date were occupied (yes, keep in mind this was all happening while Pete was on an actual date with other women), Hannah was already weeping from watching him move on, and she was not in a mood to chat. So Peter, being the gent that he is, tried to comfort her. He began by thanking her for returning the wings to him on the first night, then added, “A part of me was kinda hoping that you weren’t just dropping something off. That you were coming in. . . . No matter what, you are always going to mean so much to me.”  Aww, bless his wee little soul. Mind you, he’s saying this with his arm around her and staring deep into her tearful eyes. So it’s very intimate and personal already. And we’re just screaming at the telly, “Peter my boy, ya got a house fulla women who didn’t break your heart and dump you!” but we digress.Speaking of their breakup, she revealed that she didn’t follow her heart because, her heart was "very confused.""I don’t know what I did. I don’t know... I question what I should have done. I question a lot.” And it was all downhill from there.“This is so crazy. What would you say if I asked you to come be part of the house?” he asked her and we collectively held our breath.“Maybe,” was her answer. Maybe? This is the part where we throw things at the TV.
The conversation seemed to go in circles, with her admitting that she questions her decisions, and him wanting to kiss her but holding back, and it seemed like all of this was unnecessary and just unfair to Peter. We get it, they have history (specifically, windmill-related), and there’s always going to be lingering emotions between recent exes, but the uncertainty and back-and-forth is exhausting. It seemed by the end that Hannah gained at least a little clarity and decided to leave, but her appearance rocked Peter to his core so much that he had to cancel a portion of the group date. When the group reconvened however, he seemed totally ready to move on with a new love, even if it meant suppressing his feelings. Seems... healthy? While two appearances of a past Bachelor love doesn't seem totally out of the ordinary, it would feel weird if Hannah came back again, right? Well, it seems like famed Season 23 Bach, Colton Underwood has a different theory. It's unclear if he's got insider info, but he tweeted during the show that he bets Hannah returns in the finale. Is this legit? Is this a red herring? We don't know what to believe, but considering the show bent the rules to give Colton his happily ever after with Cassie Randolph, it's definitely not an impossibility that the same could happen for Peter and Hannah. We guess we'll have to stay tuned.

#ChampagneGate tho

Yes, the Hannah drama was the crux of this episode, but nothing encapsulates the essence of what The Bachelor is quite like #ChampagneGate. In short: Kelsey brought a special bottle of champagne from home that she wanted to share privately with Peter. Hannah Ann (not to be confused with Hannah B.) got her one-on-one time with Peter first and popped the bottle with Pete before anyone realized what was happening. Hannah Ann alleges she didn't know the bottle was Kelsey's. Kelsey is upset that it happened and that Hannah refuses to apologize. In the end there was muuuch drama with both girls trying to explain to Peter separately why they were right. *sigh*Most importantly, Peter found another bottle of champagne he and Kelsey could share—great! We happy now? No. Because then this happened:#ChampagneGate The BachelorIn conclusion: Hannah B. might return again at some point; Hannah Ann and Kelsey are straight up feuding; and Kelsey is going to be spending the next day or so trying to shake the bubble burn from her entire face.[video_embed id='1875131']The Queen agrees to ‘period of transition’ following Meghan and Harry’s announcement[/video_embed]
