The Islanders are learning about their new roommates on Love Island (Monday-Sunday, 9pm on CTV) and everyone knows that the best way to get to know someone is by making out in a pool, a bathroom, on a bed, a couch, on astro turf… the question really is where not to make out. While these spit swapping sessions are bringing clarity to some of the Islanders, others have woken up with an aftertaste of regret. Congratulations, Johnny. You played yourself.

JOHNNY AND CELY

Cely is sticking by her man and reassuring herself and anyone who will listen that Johnny is a solid dude who would never stray. Oh, Cely.Back at Casa Astray, sorry, Amor, Johnny has found some clarity between the sheets with Mercades and decided to devote himself to Cely. This would have been a great decision two days ago. Johnny finally realized that his "wilding out" was ill-advised, which is his nice way of saying majorly messing up. The countdown is on to see just how forgiving eternally-happy Cely truly is.[video_embed id='2032293']ICYMI: Johnny ruins everything in the latest dispatch from 'Love Island' [/video_embed]

MACKENZIE AND CONNOR

Mackenzie isn’t having the time of her life, but pretty close. Happy to have found someone that is "the total opposite of Connor," Mackenzie is ready to be America’s sweetheart once again and partner with someone who rates high on her compatibility scale. After kissing in Wednesday’s challenge, Mackenzie and Jalen put the nooky in nook and found a quiet place to talk, which coincidentally is also a quiet place to makeout.Meanwhile, Connor is literally walking around Casa Amor holding teddy bear Gus and hoping someone will bring up Mackenzie so he can talk about how much he misses her. Oh Connor, you’re really gonna need Gus. The guys are pressuring Connor to explore his options, especially Johnny, who had the nerve to say, “It would be devastating for all of us to see you walk into the villa single and her with someone. I would literally call her a hypocrite to her face if she did that.” Speaking of hypocrites… oh, hey Johnny!

MOIRA AND CALVIN

Start picking out fonts for wedding invites, because Moira and Aaron both love grilled cheese and corgis. Kierstan was also interested in Aaron, but Moira called girl code and Kierstan immediately backed down, spending the rest of the day crying over Carrington. “The only way we can lose is if we don’t stick together,” said Mackenzie, who kinda stole Jalen from Moira. Girl code?As for Calvin, he thought he was feeling Faith, but after a not-so-steamy waterfall kiss, he lost the faith. We know, we know. Not great, but it worked. Calvin decided to make a play for Sher in his never-ending quest to find fireworks. TBD on whether the pair have sparks.

JUSTINE AND CALEB

Love Island, you’ve already taken Johnny and Cely from us, do not even think about messing with Jaleb. Thankfully, both parties appear to be entertaining their new roommates from a distance while still pining for each other. Hold tight, you two! The recoupling is coming!

KIERSTAND AND CARRINGTON

Kierstan, who is both girlfriend material and Maid of Honour material, continues to pine over Carrington. Don’t waste good eyeliner, Kierstan.Meanwhile, Carrington is showing what Love Island would look like if the season didn’t open with a coupling ceremony. Treating Casa Amor like a bachelor party with no groom, Carrington is kissing Laurel near the pool, making out with Mercades in the bathroom, then hoping back in the shower with Laurel. Honestly, it’s amazing he still has time to do his hair. All of this hooking up appears to be affecting Carrington’s thought process since he now thinks it’s okay to call himself Daddy.
