Hollywood gives out a lot of awards over a truck-ton of ceremonies, but the People’s Choice Awards has a special place in the hearts of celebs and fans alike since every winner is chosen by We The People rather than industry insiders. This year, all the mega-stars made it a real love-fest with multiple celebs getting explicit in their shout-outs and normally goofy comedians (looking at you, Adam Sandler) getting downright mushy over their Friends. In case you happened to miss the action-packed spectacle Sunday night, we gotchu covered with a recap of all the buzziest moments.

RDJ spoiled Avengers: Endgame

If you've been living under a rock for the past half a year, you might still not know that [SPOILER] Tony Stark dies at the end of Avengers: Engame. Robert Downey Jr. made sure that anyone watching the PCAs Sunday night knew exactly the fate of his long-time character by making the first moment of the show a giant spoiler. He also confirmed that he (like everyone else) has trouble distinguishing RDJ from Tony Stark.

Everybody loves Zendaya

Not only did Zendaya win two awards, proving the people love her, she had some major star support, too. The likes of Reese Witherspoon shared some major support online and even P!nk and her kids are obsessed with her. Also, her reaction to winning was instantly memeable.

Noah Centineo is broken

Actor, dreamboat, and star of all our daydreams, Noah Centineo arrived at the ceremony on a pair of crutches and wearing a brace after dislocating his knee during a game of basketball (if you know, then you know). Somehow, as the internet’s boyfriend accepted the award for Comedy Movie Star, he still managed to look FOINE and give a moving speech about helping others and giving back.“It matters not what you’ve done but what you do with what you’ve done for others.” Dang. We’re not crying. YOU’RE CRYING. We hope he gets better soon.

P!nk's world-changing F-bomb

Pink was given the People’s Champion Award and during her speech, she galvanized the crowd and encouraged people to get involved and change the world by becoming activists, even if they think their impact is too small. “There is so much to be done. I don’t care about your politics. I care about your kids. I care about decency and humanity and kindness. Kindness today is an act of rebellion. There are people who don’t have what you have. Help them get it . . . Get together with your friends and change the f***ing world!” she roared into the mic and the audience leaped to their feet. Girl, we were watching at home and we stood to salute you.

Blake professed his love for Gwen—again

They’ve been an item for more than a hot minute, but Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have never shied away from gushing about their relationship. Sure, she’s a style and beauty icon, officially, and he wears clothes on his body, but they are still relationship GOALS and those goals were on display Sunday night as they both accepted awards and managed to slip in shout-outs and inside shade.“I love you Blake Shelton, you’re a babe!” Gwen called out when accepting the award for Fashion Icon. Things really got interesting later though, when Blake accepted the award for Country Artist of the year, and thanked P!nk for confirming they were allowed to swear on the show. They really weren't, but that wasn't going to stop the man from concluding his speech with, “I wanna say, Gwen Stefani, I love the s**t outta you.”The censor bleeped the entire sentence, sparking a Tweetstorm of Glake shippers trying to figure out what he had said. Darn you, clever censor, just let these two express their undying LURVE!

Adam Sandler is actually a big softie

Adam Sandler presented long-time BFF Jennifer Aniston with her Icon Award and we've never seen the man get so mushy. He started off in typical comedian-giving-award-to-friend fashion by listing his own accolades but then quickly got into what seemed like a never-ending torrent of praise for "Jen-Jen."Sandler called Aniston a "fashion goddess due to her natural beauty and effortless style" and "an incredible caring role model with the biggest heart," then added that she's "loyal, generous, funny, sarcastic as hell, smart as hell, strong as hell, self-deprecating, so sweet, so supportive, so beautiful, a dog-lover, an artist, a comedian, nice to her family, nice to your family, nice to everybody, incredible with kids, a great great laugher, a great producer, a great problem-solver, a great green-drink-maker, just a great friend with those smiling blue eyes." Damn, Sandler, we get it—you like Jennifer Aniston. Even Jen looked taken aback by his candor.

Jen Aniston does it for the money

When Jen finally got to the stage to accept her award for the People’s Icon, she decided to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth when it comes to what motivates her as an actress. “As actors we don’t do this for the critics or for each other or to make our families’ proud. We do this for the money.” REAL TALK.  She was kidding of course and made sure to let the fans know she does it for them, and also somehow managed to let a little curse slip by the censors. She also tipped her hat to everyone involved with Friends by noting she is where she is because of that show and her “iconic haircut.” We know Jen has admitted in recent years that she didn’t like The Rachel haircut at all, but as far as we’re concerned, The Rachel is still a fierce AF ‘do and we will have words with anyone who says otherwise. Give us layered bobs or give us death!

And your Most Hype Worthy Canadian is...

Canadians get a special bonus category at the PCAs thanks to the addition of the online-voted "Most Hype Worthy Canadian" award. Last year, the honour went to ice dancing sweethearts, er, we mean, platonic ice dancing partners, Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir who beat out the likes of Drake and Ryan Reynolds to claim the title. This year, competition was just as fierce with Drake nominated again along with other incredible Canadians like Celine Dion, Keanu Reeves, Shawn Mendes and Sandra Oh.In the end, it was Queen of the North and Canada's Drag Race judge Brooke Lynn Hytes who came out on top. She seemed legitimately shocked to the point of not quite understanding that she had won. We stan a humble queen.
