Here's everything you need to know about the new generational quiz show 'Battle of the Generations'

Do you have what it takes to reign supreme in an epic battle of the ages? Well, now’s your chance to represent your generation on CTV’s newest quiz-based game show, BATTLE OF THE GENERATIONS!
What is Battle of the Generations?
Battle of the Generations is an exciting new CTV original quiz show format that asks how much you know about your rivals’ generations and your own generation, too. Only one can triumph in this epic battle of time travelling trivia, and they’ll enter The Vault to win big money!
So who can join?
CTV is looking for charismatic contestants, each representing a different generation (Baby Boomer, Generation X, Millennial, and Gen Z), who will battle it out to discover who knows the most about ALL generations!
- Those that are energetic, charismatic, know how to have a good time and are NOT camera-shy.
- True trivia stars who want to show off their IQ.
- Those who think they have the brains to outsmart their rival generations.
- Those that have a bone to pick with their rival generations and want to settle it once-and-for-all.
- Those who are available to attend a taping in February 2023.
What do you need to apply?
- You must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
- You must be at least 14 years of age as of July 1, 2022, to apply. If you are an applicant between 14 to 18 years of age, you must obtain permission from your parent or legal guardian, and you will be required to provide us with your parent or legal guardian’s contact information when you fill out the Online Application;
- You must upload a 60 to 90-second video in landscape mode telling us why you want to be on the quiz show (more details below);
- You will be required to answer several skill-testing trivia questions to be considered; and
- To apply, please complete this Online Application. Applications must be received online via upload of this online application form. Applications received by post will not be accepted.
When do you need to be available?
All applicants will need to be available for filming in February 2023.
How do you apply?
To apply, you must understand and agree to the availability period, the eligibility requirements and the Terms and Conditions. All applicants must be ages 14+ as of July 1, 2022.
The deadline to submit your application is December 31, 2022 (subject to change at any time, at the sole discretion of CTV/Bell Media).
