Ahead of the much-anticipated new season of The Bachelorette starring Clare Crawley, The Bachelor: Greatest Of All Time decided to revisit Clare’s time on The Bachelor with that scoundrel Juan Pablo, and viewers have some extreme thoughts.Clare set the standard on The Bachelor during the 18th season of the long-running show for sticking up for herself and telling Juan Pablo exactly what she thought of him and revealing how duplicitous and self-serving the Venezuelan soccer hunk really was. According to Clare, that heated exchange during the final rose ceremony with JP has altered the course of her life for the better.Speaking with host Chris Harrison via video-chat in quarantine before filming on her season began, she said her experience has shown her just what’s she’s made of. “Probably the biggest thing is realizing just how capable I am of great things, just as a woman, as an adult, and as somebody who has gone through a lot and learned to just love herself.  Finding that within myself has just been the most amazing thing.”
If you missed Juan Pablo’s and Clare’s showdown, it went like this: boy meets girl. Boy sleeps with girl. Boy shames girl for sleeping with him. Girl tells him he’s a pig and walks off with her head held high. Bachelor Nation has a new Queen.Becca Kufrin, whom you might remember had a similar Bachelor breakup with Arie Luyendyk Jr. on season 22 of The Bachelor, said that Clare’s powerful words, poise and composure during that final rose ceremony was a galvanizing moment for many women. “That's one thing watching Clare and rewatching this now that I wish I would have done,” she admitted. “I mean, I felt like when I was going through the breakup with Arie on TV, I kind of shut down, and I closed myself off to having a conversation. I didn't ask the right questions. I didn't articulate what I wanted to say. And in watching Clare back, I'm like, ‘Hell yeah, you go, girl. You put him in your place, you stand your ground, you say what you have to say and move on from that.’ And so that was the moment where I think America really got to see her and the strong, badass woman that she is.”[video_embed id='2029313']MORE REALITY TV NEWS: Priyanka reacts to being named the first-ever winner of 'Canada's Drag Race' [/video_embed]Fans of The Bachelor: GOAT definitely were in agreement, as many took to Twitter to voice how revisiting this iconic moment in Bachelor history is why they’re so happy Clare is their new Bachelorette. Fans also haven’t forgotten how Clare’s upcoming season has had much speculation and rumour surrounding it. Word on the street has it that she exits the show mid-way through filming, having already fallen deeply in love with a contestant, and Tayshia Adams takes her place. Because this episode of The Bachelor: GOAT was filmed before the new season began production, this rumour wasn’t even addressed, so we’ll just have to wait and see how it plays out. Production on The Bachelorette was supposed to begin in March but due to the entertainment shutdown amid the COVID-19 global pandemic, production had to be delayed, but the new season is set to debut on October 13.[video_embed id='2020750']BEFORE YOU GO: Past 'Love Island' contestant reveals how his life has changed since the show [/video_embed]
