Alicia Keys has been in this business for too long for anyone to pull the wool over her eyes, so no wonder she jumped at the chance to play The Late Late Show with James Corden’s (weekdays at 12:30am ET/PT on CTV) favourite gauntlet of gross, "Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts." Even though she admits she’s wanted to play the game for a long time, she wasn’t about to put hot dog juice, blood jello, or scorpions down her million-dollar-throat. She might be the first celeb in this game that actually had no problem throwing other celebs under the bus to save her own skin, and we are here for it. *grabs a pot of tea* Call all of them out, Alicia! Spill your guts!Normally, the game is played with a Lazy Susan (of torture), but the infrastructure needed a little reworking to meet safety and physical distancing requirements. So instead, James and Alicia lifted cloches of death from two metres apart to see what decadent obscenities they might have to eat lest they refuse to answer potentially  relationship- and career-ruining questions.
Alicia was faced with Qs like “What's the highest amount of money you've spent on a work of art?” or “Which city is your least favourite to perform in?” Ms. Keys is a refined woman, and there’s no way she’s eating an ant-covered kool-ickle (whatever the heck that is), so she chose to reveal all. Let’s just say if she ever makes a return to The Voice, she will have some awkward convos in the green room.RELATED: Alicia Keys almost gave ‘If I Ain’t Got You’ to Christina Aguilera. When the big question came, Alicia barely blinked at, “You used to be a judge on The Voice along with Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine. Rank their singing voices from best to worst.” She just took a moment then began to call it as she sees it.“Gwen Stefani is best,” she said plainly before James interrupted her to remind her than any answer she gives will result in an awkward text message from Adam or Blake in the near future.“Well one of them don’t have my number,” she sassed, which evoked a big OHHH from the crew watching the show (still no audiences yet), adding that she’ll put the numberless judge last. “Gwen Stefani is the best, Adam Levine is second, and Blake Shelton is the worst.”First of all, daaang. Secondly, Alicia you do know that Gwen and Blake live together, right? If he doesn’t have your number, he can get Gwen to CALL YOU![video_embed id='2037245']RELATED: Alicia Keys is motivated to make a change [/video_embed]“I feel like I’m on a rollercoaster and I think I want to get on and then you get to the top and you realize you wanna get off!” she said.“I will tell you the only difference is a rollercoaster becomes fun, and this gets gradually worse,” James deadpanned. After James debunked rumours that he was vying for Ellen’s daytime talk show job, and Alicia admitted to spending a grand total of $600,000 on a work of art. She might have thought she could get out of this game scot free, but in the end, Alicia caved to pressure and agreed to eat the ant-covered kool-ickle, but only if James shared it with her. “Girls don’t do things like this! Boys do things like this!” she squealed before taking a much bigger bite than anticipated. And the poor woman still had to sing afterwards.
