This is a PSA to all the parents out there: if you haven't already been watching Children Ruin Everything, you're going to want to pick it up for season 2. The new season officially premieres September 19 at 8pm ET on CTV.
The half-hour Canadian series stars Meaghan Rath as Astrid, (a funny, caring mother of two who feels the pressure between returning to work and becoming a stay-at-home mother) and Aaron Abrams as James, Astrid's husband and father to their two kids.
Although Astrid was more than ready to leave the stained sweatpants and kid scheduling behind to focus on her career in season 1 (stream now on Crave and CTV.ca), season 2 begins with a NEW BABY leaving the family feeling even more strapped for time, sleep, and space. Suddenly, the self-described "city people" are considering a move away from the city... or James is, anyway... for Astrid, the idea of moving away from her family, and the job she only just returned to, does not land well.
The CTV original comedy series stars Meaghan Rath (Hawaii Five-0) and Aaron Abrams (Hannibal), with Ennis Esmer (Blindspot), Nazneen Contractor (Ransom), and introducing Logan Nicholson and Mikayla SwamiNathan. Veena Sood (Corner Gas Animated), Dmitry Chepovetsky (Killjoys), and Lisa Codrington (Letterkenny) join the cast in supporting roles.
