Black Swan is totally JoJo, right?

There are only a few weeks to go in this game-changing season of The Masked Singer (Wednesdays, 8 pET on CTV), and given that there were no new performances or eliminations in the sing-along/Maskys special last week, now seems like as good a time as ever to try and figure out those masked identities.

Here’s who we, the panelists, and the internet think are under those very elaborate masks.

Black Swan

Who the panelists think she is: Kesha, Nelly Furtado, Demi Lovato, Becky G or JoJo.

Who the internet thinks she is: JoJo. There have been so many clues pointing us to JoJo as being the celebrity singer under that feathered mask. From the Montana clue (the singer was originally asked to star in Hannah Montana) to the bad Hollywood deal (JoJo had to wait a decade to make her third album), people are totally convinced it’s her.

Our verdict: There’s no beak about it, all signs point to JoJo.

Piglet

Who the panelists think he is: Lance Bass, Chris Pine, Adam Levine, Eli or Peyton Manning.

Who the internet thinks he is: Zayn Malik or Nick Lachey. Like Piglet, the former 98 Degrees singer has strong connections to football (he played when he was in high school). Plus some fans believe his Bachelor-type connection clue has to do with the fact that he and his wife Vanessa host Love is Blind.

Our verdict: Nick Lachey all day. Remember that clue about the whole world seeing his heartbreak? Yup total Jessica Simpson reference. Oh and let’s not forget Lachey is from Cincinnati, which hosts the Flying Pig marathon.

Yeti

Who the panelists think he is: Sisqo, Todrick Hall, Justin Timberlake, Omarion or Mario.

Who the internet thinks he is: Omarion. It took the panelists a while to get there, but fans easily recognized that Yeti’s tribe of women as representing the B2K singer’s mom and three sisters. Need more proof? His biggest hit is called “Ice Box” and if that doesn’t scream Yeti then nothing does.

Our verdict: We’re definitely chill with the theory that Yeti is Omarion.

Russian Dolls

Who the panelists think they are: Boyz II Men, Lady A, The Jonas Brothers or Hanson.

Who the internet thinks they are: Hanson y’all. Although it’s impossible to tell just how many dolls are in this set, fans are convinced that the trio of famous brothers is secretly serenading everyone. Considering they’ve had a lifetime to practice those harmonies, it does make sense.

Our verdict: We’re not 100 per cent sold on Hanson only because it looks like there could be a fourth doll in the mix. If that’s the case, we’re going with the Jonas Brothers, who may be making yet another comeback but this time with their fourth brother, Frankie, in tow.

RoboPine

Who the panelists think he is: Terry Crews, Aaron Hall or Jamie Foxx. (Nicole Scherzinger really, really thinks it’s Jamie Foxx.)

Who the internet thinks he is: Tyrese Gibson. Remember that soda can in his clue package? The singer-turned-actor got a big record deal after singing in a Coca-Cola ad back in the day. And let’s not forget the spider and web in his self-portrait—Gibson stars in the upcoming Spider-Man spinoff Morbius.

Our verdict: As much as we’d like to play Fast & Furious with our guesses, RoboPine is definitely our Baby Boy Tyrese Gibson.

Chameleon

Who the panelists think he is: Machine Gun Kelly, Kyrie Irving, G-Eazy or Waka Flocka Flame

Who the internet thinks he is: Wiz Khalifa. Like Chameleon, he shares a love of martial arts and once got into the tech game when his career stalled (Wiz Khalifa created Weed Farm). Let’s also not forget that Wiz Khalifa is well over six feet, and Chameleon is one very tall lizard.

Our verdict: It’s not much of a reach at all to deduce that Wiz Khalifia is the one giving us a mood as Chameleon every week.

Cluedle-doo

Who the panelists think he is: A downright nuisance, to be honest. At this point, the panelists haven’t really had a chance to deduce who the rooster is, but he’s definitely always messing up their overall guessing games.

Who the internet thinks he is: The guesses are all over the place since Cluedle-doo only just revealed his first official clues in Wednesday’s sing-along (he previously worked with Gremlin/Mickey Rourke). But so far, fans are going with Donnie Wahlberg, Jamie Foxx or Joel McHale.

Our verdict: It’s got to be McHale, doesn’t it? He’s been an honourary fifth panelist forever, and we can’t think of anyone else who could pull off those cheesy one-liners while dressed like a chicken.

The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays at 8 pET on CTV.
