You can watch the Canadian Screen Awards from home this year

It's inspiring how in the midst of a pandemic, people are finding cool and creative ways to still do the things they, and we, love. The Canadian Screen Awards are officially back on and they're going to be more accessible and creative than ever! The presentation—which was originally cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns—is taking a totally new digital form that all Canadians can enjoy from the comfort and safety of home.The Canadian Academy announced May 5 that the 2020 CSA winners will be honoured over four days in eight digital segments narrated by famous Canadians starting Monday, May 25 and running to Thursday, May 28. Scheduled narrators include Eric McCormack, Toronto Raptors announcer Herbie Kuhn and CTV News anchor Lloyd Robertson with more to be announced in the lead-up to the presentations.These announcements will be available to everyone with an internet connection via livestream on the Canadian Academy's Facebook, Twitter, YouTube pages and website. Awards for broadcast news, sports programming and documentaries will be presented Monday; children's programming, lifestyle and reality winners will be featured Tuesday; scripted TV shows will be honoured Wednesday; and Thursday's digital broadcast will announce the film category winners.
