Scott Eastwood confirms 'Suicide Squad' casting to etalk

Scott Eastwood speaks to etalk while promoting "The Longest Ride" in New York over the weekend.
Scott Eastwood has joined the cast of the highly-anticipated "Suicide Squad" film getting ready to shoot in Toronto, the actor confirms to etalk.
Eastwood, recently spotted in Toronto, filled us in while promoting "The Longest Ride" in New York over the weekend.
"I'm doing a movie up there called 'Suicide Squad,'" he told us, confirming he'll be working on the David Ayer-directed film over the summer.
As for who he'll be playing, Eastwood's keeping mum.
"I can't tell you anything. It's all under shhhh," he said.

Last week Eastwood spurred speculation of his involvement after posting this photo to Instagram during Toronto Fashion Week, with "Suicide Squad" costar Cara Delevingne.

Most of his time in Toronto was spent prepping for his new role, he tells us.
“I was working the whole time so I wasn’t doing the fashion thing but it was cool,” Eastwood says. “I like Toronto. It was really nice.”
In addition to Eastwood and Delevingne, Jared Leto and Margot Robbie have recently been in Toronto also gearing up for their parts in the movie (and sharing pics around the city via their Instagrams).
The Eastwood casting news comes after Viola Davis revealed her involvement in the film to Ben Mulroney on the Academy Awards red carpet in February.
Since we broke the news of Eastwood's casting on Twitter on Sunday, there’s much speculation about who exactly he’ll play.
