Shania Twain's officially ready for life to get good, releasing her new single Life's About To Get Good, and announcing the release date of her first album in 15 years Thursday.

The Canadian country superstar revealed her new collection of songs is titled NOW, and will be available Sept. 29 (though eager fans can pre-order it now).

"The day is finally here!" Twain tweeted with news of the album, also sharing a link to the first single Life's About To Get Good.

"Life's about joy, life's about pain, it's all about the giving in, the will to walk away," Twain sings in the chorus. "I''m ready to be loved, and love the way I should, life's about to get good."

Twain debuted the single in April at the Stagecoach music festival in Indio, Calif. telling the crowd it's about "the good and the bad in life, and how important it is to have both."

In February, she spoke to Rolling Stone about how the end of her marriage in 2010 to producer Mutt Lange, who produced several of her hit albums including Come On Over, influenced her new material.

"It needed to be really pure and my own story and my own emotional journey," she said. "I was now alone all of a sudden, and I didn't want to shy away from it. And that's not a collaborative thing; it's a very personal thing."
