Size up the men trying to steal 'Bachelorette' JoJo's heart

Emily Zupnik,

An ex-quarterback, a hipster, an erectile dysfunction specialist, and a veteran walk into a mansion. Who will win JoJo’s heart, and who will be sent home without a rose?

JoJo Fletcher may not have ended up with the “Perfect Ben” on “The Bachelor” last season, but she will have her own shot at love this season on “The Bachelorette.”

After too many Mondays without dramatic exits, Jacuzzi dates, and rose ceremonies, the new men of “The Bachelorette” have finally been revealed – and we have some thoughts about them.

Here are five standouts:

1. Luke

Occupation: War Veteran

Luke’s story has all of the makings for a romance novel. He served in Afghanistan and looks like he could star in a Nicholas Sparks movie. He is also from Texas so he and JoJo already have something in common. Plus Chris Harrison said he is one of his favourite guys this season, which has to mean something right?

2. Chad

Occupation: Luxury Real-Estate Agent

Chad is a stud, his favourite movie is “The Notebook,” and Chris Harrison says, “America is either going to love this guy or hate this guy.” This means drama and we can’t wait.

3. Jordan

Occupation: Former Pro Quarterback

Jordan was not only a pro football player himself but he is the little brother of Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Hello good genes! Also if JoJo picks Jordan she will presumably meet Aaron’s longtime girlfriend, Olivia Munn. Which means this Bachelorette could be going to Hollywood.

4. Daniel

Occupation: Male Model

Oh Daniel, where do we begin with you? Daniel compared himself to a Lamborghini twice in his profile. That should be the end of it right there. The only trouble is Daniel is Canadian and so we kind of have to root him on.

5. James Taylor

Occupation: Singer-Songwriter

James Taylor has two names, so right off the bat you know he is a bro. He also has a tattoo of an American flag AND an eagle so his patriotism is at an all-time high. We think he will be one to watch because he described his dream job as a Pro NFL QB. Jordan was a professional quarterback and his brother does play in the NFL, which leads us to ask will there be a bromance this season?
