April 3 is shaping up to be quite the night for The Weeknd. Not only is the Canadian R&B singer up for a field best six Juno Awards that night, but he'll also take the stage to perform.

After a huge year dominating international charts with hits from his album "The Beauty Behind the Madness," organizers announced this morning the Toronto native will perform in Calgary for the annual event celebrating the best in Canadian music.

Shawn Mendes, a four-time nominee this year, is also set to take the stage, as is country star Dean Brody, up for two awards, and music legend Bryan Adams.

They join previously announced performer Alessia Cara, whose breakthrough year earned her four Juno nominations.

The 2016 Juno Awards air live April 3 at 7 p.m. ET/8 p.m. AT on CTV.
