By now, we’re all likely pretty familiar with the All-In Challenge–a massive initiative to raise money for COVID-19 release efforts, with the help of some (pretty unbelievable) sweepstakes set up by our favourite celebs. Whether you want to ‘get eaten by a dinosaur’ in Jurassic World 3, make lemonade with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, or visit the set of the Friends reunion special, there’s something for you. That being said…we couldn’t help but notice one of our favourite Canadian celebrities was missing from the list. That is, until now.Shawn Mendes has officially joined the All-In Challenge (cue the sigh of relief heard from Mendes fans around the world) with a pretty epic proposal: one lucky fan (and their closest friend) will get the opportunity to have a cameo appearance in the star’s next music video. The winner and their guest will also get a meet and greet with Mendes on the set (and don’t worry, travel and accommodations will be provided). And if you pledge $100, you get a whopping 200 entries to win. Um, sign us up, please!? Aside from participating in good deeds, Mendes has been busy (or should we say, not so busy) quarantining with girlfriend Camila Cabello. But even while laying low, the two have managed to make headlines as the video for their summer 2019 hit "Señorita" has just earned its spot in YouTube’s Billion Views club. Really, this should come as no surprise — the steamy music video (which was largely responsible for those initial ‘are they dating!?’ rumours) is a welcome escape from quarantine life.[video_embed id='1928068']RELATED: Shawn Mendes, Shania Twain and more Canadians encouraging fans to stay home.[/video_embed]For those of you who want to catch a glimpse of Mendes without replaying his music videos or refreshing Instagram, you’re in luck. It was recently announced that the WE Celebrate: Class of 2020 initiative was bringing together some big-name (and hella inspiring) celebrities including—you guessed it—Shawn Mendes. The hour-long special hosted by Lilly Singh will include the likes of Mendes, Brett Kissel, Selena Gomez, Shay Mitchell (and many more) to provide graduating students with a very special living room party on June 6th. Perhaps Camilla will make an appearance as well?
