Justin Timberlake is returning to the world of trolls and this time he’s bringing SZA along for the magical ride. The pair teamed up for the first time to release the feel-good single “The Other Side,” an instant bop that comes with a shiny new music video. Literally. There’s a lot of shine.Reminiscent of Timberlake’s 2002 music video for “Rock Your Body,” the visuals for “The Other Side” rely heavily on Timberlake and SZA’s dance skills as well as several costume changes by SZA. The pair look effortlessly cool as they move in front of a fisheye lens, dance down a sparkling hallway, sit on top of a disco ball and in SZA’s case, even take a tumble while performing in sky high platforms. That’s right, SZA even looks cool when she’s falling. Such a boss.
Timberlake shared his excitement over working with SZA, writing that he’s been a longtime fan of her as “…a singer, as a songwriter, as a performer, as an artist. When we started working on The Other Side, it was clear that her voice and vision were exactly what the song needed, and I’m HONORED to have collaborated with her on this. Hopefully more to come on some R&B SET THE MOOD RIGHT VIBE... I’m really proud of this one and the message it represents. Turn it it up, share it, and go tell SZA she’s a [unicorn emoji].”[video_embed id='-1']RELATED: Dance crew pays tribute to Justin Timberlake's 'Can't Stop The Feeling'[/video_embed]
