Some of the best collaborations don’t always make sense on paper. Billy Ray Cyrus and Lil Nas X? Record breaking. Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper? Give them an Oscar. Aerosmith and Run DMC? Made history. So, when Harry Styles covered Lizzo’s “Juice” back in December, it felt inevitable that the pairing of an English ex-boy bander-turned respected musician and flute-playing pop/hip hop phenom needed to happen. Thankfully, it did and there are videos to prove it.Lizzo was in Florida on Thursday night to perform at a pre-Super Bowl concert. The singer was fresh off her stunning opening performance at last Sunday’s Grammy Awards where she took home Best Urban Contemporary Album for Cuz I Love You (Deluxe), Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Jerome” and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Truth Hurts.”  Taking the stage at the iconic Fillmore Theater in Miami Beach as part of the SiriusXM and Pandora concert series, Lizzo got a little bit of help while performing her hit track “Juice.” And by a little bit of help, we mean a massive energy boost from the uber talented, always smooth Harry Styles. Of course these two would be friends. They are the coolest.[video_embed id='1886568']RELATED: 5 reasons we adore birthday boy Harry Styles.[/video_embed]First, there was the introduction for the man who needs no introduction…although with that much noise, an introduction on the mic was still a good idea. Next was the moment Styles told a screaming crowd that he, too, is the baddest bitch (we don’t lie), which is our new mood for 2020. But the most impressive part of the performance came near the end of the song when Harry “One Direction Wasn’t A Boy Band That Did Choreography” Styles proved that he can in fact do choreography. Somewhere, Simon Cowell is seething that this news is only coming to light now. Lizzo was likely inspired to ask Harry to join her on stage after seeing the Fine Line singer cover “Juice” in concert as well as during his appearance on BBC’s Radio One Live Lounge in December.
The celebration that began during Sunday’s Grammys has continued all week for Lizzo, who shared pictures from her Grammys afterparty. Joined by Lil Nas X and Dua Lipa, Lizzo and her crew rented out the Crazy Girls strip club in Los Angeles. The Hustlers star shared pictures from inside the club, which included a bedazzled gun machine and a lot of one-dollar bills. This week, Lizzo also announced that she would be attending Canada’s Osheaga Music and Arts Festival for the first time. Co-headlining the three-day festival with Foo Fighters and Kendrick Lamar, Lizzo is scheduled to close out Saturday’s show, with the festival including fellow 2020 Grammy nominees Jessie Reyez, Vampire Weekend, Bon Iver, and Lewis Capaldi. The Montreal-based festival will take place from July 31 to August 2.
