Beyoncé has dropped more than a few surprises on her fans in the past several years, including a self-titled studio album, the visual album ‘Lemonade’ and a history-making VMA pregnancy announcement following her performance of ‘Love on Top’. So it makes sense that the singer is up to something top-secret again, this time taking over a local television studio in New York state’s chic (read: super expensive) vacation destination, the Hamptons — for purposes yet to be revealed to the public.
Page Six reports that Bey and her entourage laid claim to the entire studio for four full days in order to shoot a secretive new video, sending the facility’s regular occupants and additional clients packing. “It’s a big studio with two separate buildings,” said the site’s source. “The whole thing was closed for Beyoncé so nobody could go in.”[video_embed id='2027121']RELATED: Beyoncé gifts flowers for baby Daisy[/video_embed]Technically, Bey and Jay and their three kids are Hamptons locals. The singer and her husband have owned property in the neighbourhood since 2017 when they bought a multi-million-dollar mansion called Pond House (don’t let the modest name fool you, the property’s guest house is the size of your average suburban home). So when other local users of the studio found out that they were ceding their production time to Beyoncé, they did the neighbourly thing and remained extremely polite about it.“I love Beyoncé,” philanthropist, socialite, and talk show host Jean Shafiroff told
Page Six, “so I was happy to give her my time at the studio. I canceled my guest and I’m interviewing her this week instead.
