We had always assumed that legally the two women weren’t allowed to be in a recording studio at the same time, much like how the president and vice president always have to fly separately in case one plane goes down and the other person has to take care of running the country. It looks like we were right, because it turns out that Tedder was being cheeky when responding to the question about collabs by listing off the names of the biggest artists in the world. Ha. — вєу’ѕ тιηу glαѕѕєѕ (@uhlexiswarren) September 30, 2019What really made this ‘joke’ a mean one was Tedder’s use of three people who we believe could easily work together. Funny? Taylor Swift hitting the studio with John Mayer. Not gonna happen. Not funny? Beyoncé, Adele and Chris Martin. It could happen.Beyoncé and Chris Martin have a long professional and personal history, with Bey and husband Jay-Z close friends of Chris and his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow. Beyoncé appeared on Coldplay’s 2015 single "Hymn For The Weekend" and the pair shared the stage when Coldplay performed at the 2016 Super Bowl halftime show.As for Adele and Beyoncé, both women can thank Tedder for helping to pen some of their biggest hits. Tedder worked with Beyoncé on her Grammy nominated 2008 song "Halo," in 2011 on "I Was Here" and again in 2013 on "XO." Tedder first teamed up with Adele in 2011 on her album 21, helping to write "Rumor Has It" and "Turning Tables," with the pair joining forces again in 2015 on "Remedy," with Tedder part of the Grammy-winning production team for Adele’s 25. Which again begs the question, why would he do this to us?We know the two kweens have a long-standing stan-off, with the pair frequently taking turns gushing about one another. The most famous moment, of course, came when Adele won the Grammy for Album of the Year for 25 over Beyoncé’s Lemonade, with the British singer dedicating much of her acceptance speech to Queen Bey.Fingers crossed that these women take inspiration from Tedder’s fake collab chatter and hit the studio together, a duet that would immediately win every award available and beyond.Your move, universe.[video_embed id='-1']Adele is feelin’ herself in 31st birthday post.[/video_embed]
