Justin Bieber and Arianna Grande have finally released their first duet and are using the new song to help others. “Stuck With U” dropped at midnight on May 8 and features a brand-new video showing both Bieber and Grande at their homes where they are isolating. The pair are joined remotely by their celebrity friends and fans around the world to create a moving video in support of children of first responders affected by COVID-19.Bieber and Grande announced their first-ever collab earlier this month and reached out to their fans on social media to send videos of themselves filmed while in quarantine. “Send us videos of u being your beautiful selves, dancing with your loved ones, pets, whatever / whoever brings u comfort during this quarantine (even if it’s just u alone. that’s beautiful too)”
wrote Grande on her Instagram, a call-out that was also shared by Bieber. Fans responded and the results are an incredibly inspiring and hopeful video that is exactly what people need right now.Fans around the world uploaded videos of themselves dancing in their homes, often backed by posters of Bieber and Grande. Teens in prom dresses and graduation gowns and mortar boards finally got the chance to wear their formal outfits. Young fans danced with their siblings and pets and many held up signs to celebrate their parents who are first responders.
Several famous faces also make appearances throughout the video. Bieber and Grande, who share a manager in Scooter Braun, have arranged for all the net proceeds from the sales and streams of “Stuck With U” to be used to fund grants and scholarships for children of first responders who have been impacted by COVID-19.
