Harry Styles just gave us one more reason to watch the 2021 Grammy Awards this weekend. The “Watermelon Sugar” singer is set to open the Grammys with a performance.

The news about the opening performance came from CBS’ executive VP of specials, music and live events, Jack Sussman. "You don't want to miss the top of the show," Sussman told Variety. "It's going to be music coming at you heavy and hard like you've not seen it before. We've got Harry Styles, this incredible entertainer, at the top of the show and we'll just keep coming at you."

Sussman did not share the songs that Styles will be performing, but the news is enough to get us excited while practicing singing along to every song from his album Fine Line.

Styles is nominated for three Grammys this year, including Best Pop Solo Performance for "Watermelon Sugar,” Best Pop Vocal Album for Fine Line and Best Music Video for "Adore You."

Harry Styles fans everywhere took to Twitter to celebrate the upcoming Styles concert, whoops, we mean the Grammys.

Sussman also spoke about other performances set to take place during Sunday’s awards show. "We wanted to do it right for the artists. It's been a tough year. This is a moment in time for these artists to get out on stage and connect with fans who have been starving for these kinds of moments," he said. "We have a wonderful group of diverse musical talent — some of the best live performers on the planet.”

ARMYs get ready, Sussman also said that viewers can look forward to RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook’s performance this weekend. "It will be what you really love and want to see BTS do," he said. "They're going to have fun and engage the audience at home. They'll get you up on your feet in your living room."

"For the viewer at home, this isn't going to be a remote Zoom telecast," Sussman continued. "You're going to be as entertained as if you were watching it at the Staples with 14,000 other fans."

The 63rd annual Grammy Awards will also have performances from Taylor Swift, Dua Lip, Roddy Rich, Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby, Bad Bunny, Black Puma, Cardi B, Brandi Carlile, Doja Cat, Bruno Mars, and Anderson .Paak.

Mickey Guyton, HAIM, Brittany Howard, Miranda Lambert, Lil Baby, Chris Martin, John Mayer, Maren Morris and Post Malone round out the headlining setlist for this star-studded event.

The Grammys were originally supposed to air at the end of January from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, but because of COVID-19 concerns, it was pushed to this weekend. Now host Trevor Noah and a handful of celebrities will present at the Los Angeles Convention Center, with the broadcast picking up remotely from other places.

Someone close to Styles isn’t so pleased with the Grammys at the moment. Earlier this week his former One Direction bandmate, Zayn Malik tweeted: “F—k the Grammys and everyone associated. Unless you shake hands and send gifts, there’s no nomination considerations. Next year I’ll send you a basket of confectionary.”

Zayn returned to Twitter to clarify that his tweet about the Grammys wasn’t “personal or about eligibility.” Instead, he said he was concerned, “about the need for inclusion and the lack of transparency of the nomination process and the space that creates and allows favoritism, racism, and netwokring [sic] politics to influence the voting process.”

The Grammys air Sunday, March 14 at 8 pET and will be hosted by Trevor Noah.
