Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden is amassing an impressive list of celebrity supporters in the run-up to the November 3 election. The latest squad to come forward as pro-Joe is the cast of Marvel’s blockbuster Avengers franchise and its directors. On October 20, the team will reunite (“assemble” if you prefer) alongside VP candidate Kamala Harris for a virtual fundraiser that is almost guaranteed to pull in massive numbers of fans. Think of it as Comic-Con-meets-DNC.Dubbed the "Voters Assemble!" event, Avengers Chris Evans, Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Paul Rudd and Zoë Saldana will "unite for Democracy" in support of Biden and Harris.

Ruffalo's social media presence mirrors the same effort and he also joined other A-listers in a recent PSA aimed at getting the internet’s fickle attention by appearing naked (for democracy!).
