“So I’ve seen it many times and while watching it I’ve watched this scene with them in their house so many times, with Jo saying she loves the books and Amy hurting her hand. I don’t know if anyone else noticed but there is a hydro flask and a Polar Spring water bottle just casually sitting there during some of the scene. Let me know if you noticed this.”After Rancourt pointed out the error, many fans took to Twitter and other social media platforms to share their own reactions. Because, as some have pointed out, it’s the kind of thing that once you know about it, you can’t un-see it.@madelynrancourtanyone else notice this? ##fyp ##foryou ##littlewomen ##hydroflask ##timothéechalamet♬ Little Women - Alexandre Desplat

little women can afford having a water bottle and hydro flax in the background of a scene, as a treat

Look, it makes sense: actors and the crew get parched during those long days on set. But forgetting to tuck the bottle away off camera in between takes is a pretty big deal, especially when you’re filming a period piece (Little Women is set in the 1860s) and the bottle in question hasn’t even been invented yet. It kind of takes viewers out of the whole experience. Just ask the Game of Thrones fans who went wild when a Starbucks cup popped up in Westeros, and again when a water bottle later appeared at the feet of one Samwell Tarly (John Bradley). On the plus side, maybe this discovery will lead to another spike in viewership for the film. As if fans needed another excuse to re-watch the movie, which was nominated for six Oscars and won for Best Achievement in Costume Design. And to be totally fair, it’s not like the bottles were really that noticeable—it took a super fan to find them. Even Vanity Fair, which spoke with the cast and Gerwig about that exact same scene a few months ago—didn’t pick up on the gaff.“I find it funny that the cast did a breakdown of this scene for Vanity Fair—clearly the water bottles are in it,” Rancourt said in a follow-up video to her OG TikTok. “And they stopped right here and don’t even mention it. Like they didn’t notice!”Wouldn’t anyone else like to bet that they probably notice now? Sure, the cast and crew have been silent on social media so far, but it’s only a matter of time before someone addresses it. Until then, everyone can look forward to the film’s digital and blu-ray release on April 7, or catch up on the 1994 version of Louisa May Alcott’s famous tale now on Crave.[video_embed id='1931706']Before you go: Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively donate $100,000 to NYC hospitals[/video_embed]this is like the starbucks cup in game of thrones ?? pic.twitter.com/JtOBTt7h7P
