How the ‘Women in Film’ trailers will highlight and celebrate women in the industry

RBC and TIFF teamed up to air a series of videos honouring female talent online, in-cinema and before digital screenings at TIFF 2020.

This year, at the Toronto International Film Festival, a series of trailers called 'Women in Film' will play to highlight the work done by the amazing, talented women in the film industry. RBC has teamed up with TIFF over the past few years to address gender inequality and to help celebrate and elevate the women working hard in film, both in front and behind the camera - and this year is no different!'Women in Film' will celebrate the impact of talented filmmakers like Sasha Leigh Henry, V.T. Nayani, Jennifer Podemski and Jennifer Liao. The trailers will will be played online, in-cinema and before digital screenings at TIFF!We spoke with Sasha Leigh Henry, who has two films premiering at TIFF this year, about why female filmmakers are so important, and much more.
