Is there anything more heartwarming than a reunion between a Dothraki khal and an advisor to a mercurial heir of the Targaryen dynasty? Brace yourselves, Game of Thrones fans, because Khal Drogo and Tyrion Lannister are getting the Westeros band back together—though not with the lineup or in the location you might expect. While the promised GoT prequel (or five) is still said to be in the works (with no less than Naoimi Watts heading up the cast), it seems actors Jason Momoa and Peter Dinklage have taken their leave of George RR Martin’s mythical world for good to star in an equally intriguing project: a buddy movie… about vampires.Having matriculated from the realm of dragons and White Walkers, the two GoT alums have signed up to take the lead in a movie from up-and-coming filmmaker Max Barbakow, who most recently directed Andy Samberg in Palm Springs. In the movie Good Bad & Undead, Dinklage will play the role of a vampire hunter from the legendary Van Helsing bloodline, while Momoa will play his intended target.[video_embed id='1767922']RELATED: Jason Momoa was trapped inside a Vancouver elevator for over two hours [/video_embed]The story sees the two characters forging an unlikely alliance as grifters who migrate from place to place, running a con in which locals hand Van Helsing their hard-earned money for him to rid them of the new vampire in town who's taken to stalking their loved ones. Meanwhile, the vampire (that would be Momoa) is in on the whole thing. The scheme works until a bigger than expected bounty is offered in exchange for Momoa’s life, prompting more than just Van Helsing to have a stake in his capture. In short: it’s the movie we want meets the movie we deserve. Considering the state of film production right now, however, it’s also the movie we have no idea when we’ll get.Fans of Momoa will be able to see the actor again soon, though. He plays the role of Duncan Idaho in Canadian director Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation of the 1965 sci-fi masterpiece Dune, still slated to be released this November (fingers crossed). The movie also stars Timothée Chalamet, Oscar Isaac, and Zendaya.[video_embed id='-1']BEFORE YOU GO: English Bulldog shows how to properly wear a mask [/video_embed]
