Not only did we get a revealing look inside Lil Nas X's life at the Toronto International Film Festival this weekend, we also got new music!

Lil Nas X debuted his doc 'Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero' last night at the Toronto International Film Festival. As the credits rolled, a brand-new song played titled "Where Do We Go Now."

The dreamy and melancholic ballad embodies  the sentiment of the film’s conclusion. As it ends, he hints at the direction of his next era, teasing an album about  “happy escapism” and how important it is for him to keep his inner child alive because it’s what “keeps [him] going and creative." “I want to be more alive,” he explains.

The credits show that Lil Nas X wrote the song along with Omer Fedi and Blake Slatkin. Slatkin and Fedi previously collaborated with Lil Nas X on his massive hit "That's What I Want."

In a Q&A after the movie’s screening, Lil Nas responded to a question about touring with confirmation of an album on the way.  “I want to drop this good-ass, fire-ass music first and then I’m gonna be back out there, he told the audience.

We'll be anxiously waiting on Lil Nas X to debut the new songs, which are sure to be bangers. 'Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero' currently does not have a release date.
