Warner Bros. just dropped the hotly anticipated Don't Worry Darling trailer and in conclusion: HARRY. STYLES.

Olivia Wilde previewed the buzzy 1950s thriller at CinemaCon in Vegas at the end of April but the trailer was dropped publicly May 2.

In it, Harry Styles plays a husband with a job at a mysterious company that promises to change the world. His wife (Florence Pugh) is skeptical—especially after the women in town are told to stay inside.

According to a press release about the film: "Alice (Pugh) and Jack (Styles) are lucky to be living in the idealized community of Victory, the experimental company town housing the men who work for the top-secret Victory Project and their families."

"The 1950’s societal optimism espoused by their CEO, Frank (Chris Pine)—equal parts corporate visionary and motivational life coach—anchors every aspect of daily life in the tight-knit desert utopia."

"While the husbands spend every day inside the Victory Project Headquarters, working on the 'development of progressive materials,' their wives—including Frank’s elegant partner, Shelley (Gemma Chan)—get to spend their time enjoying the beauty, luxury and debauchery of their community. Life is perfect, with every resident’s needs met by the company. All they ask in return is discretion and unquestioning commitment to the Victory cause."

"But when cracks in their idyllic life begin to appear, exposing flashes of something much more sinister lurking beneath the attractive façade, Alice can’t help questioning exactly what they’re doing in Victory, and why. Just how much is Alice willing to lose to expose what’s really going on in this paradise?"

But all the uncanny weirdness doesn’t stop Harry and Florence's characters from sharing plenty of hot and heavy scenes… Including one where Chris Pine’s character is in the same room.

“What would it take for you to give up that perfect life?” Wilde posed to the crowd at CinemaCon. “What are you really willing to sacrifice to do what’s right?”

Wilde explained the psychological thriller is inspired by flicks like Inception, The Matrix, and The Truman Show.

“It’s my love letter to the movies that pushed boundaries of ambition.”

The film also stars the aforementioned Pine, Chan, Nick Kroll, KiKi Layne, Douglas Smith, Timothy Simons, Kate Berlant, Dita Von Tease and Olivia Wilde herself.

“Florence is brilliant, sexy, fierce and tough,” Wilde said of Florence Pugh “We knew this movie would live or die off her role.”

Wilde also gushed about Styles, whom she met and began dating during filming.

“He’s an up-and-coming actor with no other career that I am aware of, and he is nothing short of a revelation in this part.”

During the CinemaCon presentation, Wilde was also handed a mysterious manila envelope. So far, her reps haven’t confirmed what was inside. Some believe it was an unsolicited script.

‘Don’t Worry Darling’ hits theatres Sept. 23, 2022.
