Addison Rae is moving from the TikTok world to the big screen with her acting debut in Netflix's He's All That.

The streaming service dropped its first trailer for the gender-swapped version of Freddie Prinze Jr. and Rachael Leigh Cook's 1999 movie She's All That, where the high school jock transformed the school nerd into prom royalty. Problematic plot points aside, She's All That is still an iconic teen flick with a pretty memorable supporting cast (Gabrielle Union, Usher, Paul Walker, Anna Paquin to name a few). And as we all know, the old adage of "if it ain't broke" does not apply in Hollywood.

Addison stars as Padgett Sawyer, a popular social media influencer who walks in on her boyfriend Jordan Van Draanen (Peyton Meyer) cheating on her — all while she livestreams the moment by accident.

After having a breakdown and "going viral in the wrong way," Padgett's friend Alden (Madison Petis) suggests she "make a new Jordan." Padgett gladly accepts the challenge. *Cue the makeover montage!* (This time around, they're making over Cameron Kweller, played by Cobra Kai's Tanner Buchanan.)

Our OG prom queen candidate from '99, Rachael Leigh Cook, stars in the new Gen Z version of the flick as Padgett's mom, Anna Sawyer. Fans of the original, take note. "Anna Sawyer" isn't remotely close to the name "Laney Boggs," a.k.a the character Cook previously played in She's All That, so this is more of a true reboot than a part 2.

The first trailer also features a remix of Sixpence None The Richer's "Kiss Me," which was part of the original movie's soundtrack. In another throwback, Matthew Lillard, who played reality star Brock Hudson in the orig, makes an appearance.

Not only is this Addison's acting debut, but it's also her BFF Kourtney Kardashian's first-ever movie appearance.

Kardashian makes a small cameo in the film as Jessica Miles Torres and she's also featured in the trailer.

"Who's the new guy?" Kardashian says. "A little scruffy but cute."

Some people on social media have already voiced their concerns about the new version of the 1999 film. One of those people includes The Good Place actress Jameela Jamil.

"This looks objectively F**king terrible,” Jameela tweeted. “Which means *everyone* is going to watch it and it’s going to be number 1."

In a follow-up tweet, Jameela wrote, “You’ll succumb to the hate watching peer pressure. Just wait. We ignore great art and publicize stuff like this with our hatred, and then it becomes number 1, and then studios green light more films just like it.”

After many of Addison's fans came for Jameela, she made it clear that she never said anything about the TikTok star and just thinks the movie looks bad.

Regardless of Jameela's thoughts, we know we're all going to watch this reimagined rom-com for the cameos when it comes out on August 27.
