JoJo Siwa is working towards having a kissing scene taken out of the final cut of her new movie.

Siwa spoke with Entertainment Weekly for the new Pride digital cover and she said that she is trying to have a romantic scene between herself and a man removed from her new film, Bounce.

The Christmas movie is adapted from Megan Shull’s novel of the same name, produced by Will Smith’s Westbrook Studios and directed by To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before director Susan Johnson.

“I’m madly in love and I do not want to kiss another human. Especially because it’s a man,” Siwa, who is currently in a relationship with girlfriend Kylie Prew, told EW.

The 18-year-old Dance Moms alum worries that her fans won’t separate her persona from her character Franny in the movie.

“That's what they look at me as, not some character, not some fictional thing. And so it's going to be a little weird,” she said.

"I'm not about it," Siwa said of the kissing scene. "I'm trying to get it pulled so bad. It'll happen. It'll get pulled."

In her interview with EW, Siwa opened up about her relationship with Prew and said she can handle her being “the JoJo Siwa” while loving the real JoJo.

"She obviously knows what I do. There'll be times where I'll be like, 'I hate talking about myself like this.' But I am famous and I am a celebrity. I am high profile. She'll be like, 'You have every right to say that. That's what you do,’” Siwa shared.

Whenever the YouTube star doubts her singing abilities, Prew becomes her biggest cheerleader.

"She'll be like, 'Oh, yeah? How many arenas did you sell out last year?' And I was like, '97,'" she says, reenacting her sheepish expression. "And she'll be like, 'And you can't sing?’” she said.

Siwa came out as pansexual earlier this year and she credited her “amazing, wonderful, perfect” girlfriend for supporting her through it all.

She told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show all about taking that big step and why she felt she was ready.

"I was like, 'I don't really mind, it is true.' I do have the most amazing, wonderful, perfect, most beautiful girlfriend in the whole world. It's not something I'm ashamed of, I just haven't shown the internet yet,” she said at the time.

Siwa shared more details about her long-distance relationship with Prew when speaking with EW. She said that they FaceTime every day and she keeps her phone on mute only to go to sleep.

Siwa gets up at 4 a.m. California time and stays on the phone for 30 minutes with Prew, who lives in Florida. Then Siwa goes back to sleep until 9 a.m. and does it all over again the next day.

"It's a lot," she admitted of coordinating their schedules. "It's worth it though."

Siwa has seen the memes about her coming out and becoming a “gay icon,” and she calls it “the biggest honour.”

"Being called a gay icon, honestly, I think is the biggest honour," she said. "About a year ago, I started having all these music meetings just for fun, just getting my head where I want to go. And I told the producers, 'I want to create gay pop, and I want to have a concert for the girls and for the gays.' Turns out a year later, I am very much so gay."
