Jesse Giddings

Jesse Giddings joins CTV’s ETALK as the team’s L.A. Correspondent. 

A Langley, British Columbia native, Giddings began his television career in 2009, as co-host of Much Music’s flagship program New. Music. Live. (formerly MuchOnDemand). His multi-faceted talent and indisputable charm onscreen caught the eye of American entertainment program E! News, who hired Giddings as a full-time correspondent in 2013. As an E! News correspondent, Giddings reported from the industry’s biggest red carpets, including The Oscars®, Sundance Film Festival, San Diego Comic Con, Toronto International Film Festival®, and interviewed notable celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston, Eddie Redmayne, Nicole Kidman, Matthew McConaughey, Keira Knightley, and Benedict Cumberbatch to name a few. While part of the E! News team, the program received three Emmy Award® nominations for Outstanding Entertainment News Program and for Breaking News Coverage.   

Previously during his time as co-host of Much Music’s flagship program New. Music. Live (formerly MuchOnDemand) he interviewed some of biggest names in music and entertainment including, Drake, Justin Bieber, Liam Hemsworth, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Katy Perry. Giddings also co-hosted two Much Music Video Awards (MMVAs) alongside international singer and actress Selena Gomez in 2010 and Grammy® nominated band LMFAO in 2012 and also covered the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games for CTV.

In his personal time, Giddings travels the world as a photojournalist documenting remote travel destinations and charitable missions responding to international crises. Recently, Giddings has been on assignment for International Medical Corps, documenting the Syrian refugee crisis throughout Europe. He also taught micro-financing and helped with water development projects in rural Rajasthan India, traveled on the King of Bhutan's motorcycle throughout the Himalayan Mountains on a search for remote temples, and traveled extensively throughout the south of Europe on a motorcycle in search of small villages and great food. 

Learning to give back at an early age, Giddings is a big supporter of Free The Children and as an ambassador, he has co-hosted more than 15 WE Day events across North America. Giddings’ dedication recently took him to Kenya to assist in the hands-on building of a school for local children.
