Get the look: Rihanna’s Canadian tuxedo while on date night with A$AP Rocky

More than a few lucky times, Rihanna has generously graced us with double denim, triple denim, even quadruple denim.

But earlier this week, she stepped out in New York City on a date night with boyfriend A$AP Rocky in a pure and true Canadian tux.

The singer wore a Miu Miu cropped denim shirt and matching Miu Miu jeans, both in a medium wash. Under the jacket, she sported an Alexander Wang white button-up shirt knotted under the chest, with a black Savage Fenty bra peeking below.

To complete the look, she added on black rectangular Gucci sunglasses, black embellished Balenciaga heels, and a whole lot of Briony Raymond jewelry.

Her final accessory: A$AP, in an equally chic loose gray Bottega Veneta suit, with a green woven bag from the label, aviators, and diamond chains to match Rihanna’s.

Always coordinated, let’s just say they’re no Justin and Hailey.

The week before, the pair were seen out for A$AP’s 34th birthday at Carbone in Manhattan. This time, Rihanna unsurprisingly stunned again, in an asymmetrical tulle corset, with opaque tights, and a cropped silk bomber jacket, all in black. The birthday boy, meanwhile, wore light-wash jeans, a loose blazer, and a bright pink woven bag, his fave.

But while he loves his loose suits, Rihanna has been rocking a Canadian tux for years, from her denim maternity gown to her denim patchwork bra and jumpsuit — just this year.

She even launched her own denim shoe collection with Manolo Blahnik, called Denim Desserts, back in 2016. The set of sandals, stilettos, booties, and boots were embroidered to match her tattoos.

Now that’s love.
