Gin sales are about to go up and we have Stanley Tucci to thank for it. The Oscar-nominated actor joined the ranks of Ina Garten and Martha Stewart by recently sharing his own pro-tips on making the perfect cocktail on social media, and it left fans everywhere wanting their own double-gin Negroni to celebrate. In a video filmed by Tucci’s wife, Felicity Blunt (sister to THAT Emily Blunt), the actor expertly whipped up the popular Italian gin cocktail, that’s topped off with a pre-cut orange slice, and confessed he preferred a double shot of gin and for the Negroni to be shaken and not stirred, which is how the OG cocktail is mixed.

By the time Tucci—who may be the only man wearing a belt, proper pants and a tucked-in polo during self-isolation—was finished his concoction served in a coupe, Blunt’s hand could be seen reaching for the drink. “You want it Felicity? That will never happen,” he said slyly before taking a sip. “That’s good.” He was only kidding of course, and he then handed off the cocktail to his wife.[video_embed id='1918078']RELATED: Your favourite cocktails can be made for way less[/video_embed]Viewers were equally, ahem, thirsty after the master class, which they (along with Tucci’s Captain America co-star Chris Evans), made clear when they shared the love on social media. It just goes to prove that no one knows how to soothe anxiety like The Tooch, who is also a cookbook author, ICYMI. It makes you wonder if Tucci’s brother-in-law, John Krasinski, saw the clip. After all, one thing that could make Some Good News even better is a recurring Tucci-makes-cocktails segment. After all, there are about a zillion more cocktails out there and we're pretty sure people would gladly watch the Julie & Julia and Devil Wears Prada star make all of them.[video_embed id='1940065']BEFORE YOU GO: Simu Liu's new Marvel training includes a lot of video games and takeout food[/video_embed]
