The first book in the series The Wizenard Series: Training Camp, marked a shift in Kobe’s career after basketball, as he began to become more involved in publishing and writing. It was revealed after he passed that he was in fact writing a book with famed The Alchemist novelist Paulo Coelho. Coelho told The Associated Press that he deleted the draft of that book after Kobe’s passing, and he confirmed it via his official Twitter as well, including a screencap of his text exchanges with the basketball legend.Official release day.
