We’d love this news item to focus on Friends star Courteney Cox and just how bad she is at any type of trivia game pertaining to the show she spent a full decade working on, but in truth this story is about a young man from Staten Island, New York who just happens to be cousins with late night host Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel, who has been broadcasting ‘Quarantine Minilogues’ on YouTube in lieu of his usual show and monologue, had Cox on as a guest Wednesday evening. Remotely, of course. The two caught up about how they’ve been spending their time inside, with Cox mentioning that she’s been home for two weeks now and is going to have to make a grocery store run pretty soon (she did however, assure Kimmel that she has plenty of toilet paper). Earlier this week, Cox had been scheduled to shoot the forthcoming Friends reunion with former co-stars Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and Matthew Perry. But like… uh, everything, that’s been put on hold until the coronavirus pandemic lifts.[video_embed id='1599089']RELATED: Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid’s relationship is stronger than ever[/video_embed]The news gave Kimmel the perfect in: why not play a round of Friends trivia to pass the time? One would assume that an actor who actually starred in 10 seasons of Friends would provide some serious competition to any challenger, but Cox admitted that with her, that isn’t the case: "I don't remember even being on the show. I have such a bad memory," she told Kimmel, "I remember, obviously, loving everybody there and having fun and I remember certain times in my life that I was there, but I don't remember episodes… I fail every test."And that’s when Kimmel brought in his ringer. The host’s cousin (that would be Staten Island Anthony, a Friends superfan) was spliced into the video chat to go toe-to-toe with Courtney (that is, as soon as he stopped fan-boying over her). “This is the greatest moment of my life,” he told Jimmy. Check out the video below to see who won the match. Cox arrives on Kimmel’s virtual set at the 7:30 minute mark.
